it brings peace. amen.
Wait til she hear who wrote the post that brings peace.....What brings peace?....maybe you are quoting someone I have on ignore.
Wait til she hear who wrote the post that brings peace.....
You heard from God on that one for sure. Now if only your teacher would.Actually,.......I have taken you off of ignore....i don’t believe what you teach DorothyMae..however ...I have been praying about you and I believe God has said to me......who are you to judge this believer......
No problem. Glad you’re not like your teacher in all ways. Good job!You belief is between you and God....so I apologise for any nastiness from me to you....on this thread...I am not making excuses....but I have been confused on this thread on how people are saved.
Amen!!!I know I am charismatic Christian..I also believe I was baptised in the Holy Spirit...that is what the Lord has revealed to me....it’s biblical.....it’s my belief and it’s not up for debate.
I also believe in the fruits of the Holy Spirit they are gifts from God and many charismatic Christian have been blessed with them.
Absolutely! I recommend you continue on that line of thought and drop the focus on salvation. Eternal life is to know the One True God and Jesus the Christ.I also believe God leads us and helps us become more like his son......

I think we are more likely at different places in our walk with Him, me being at it decades longer than you have and have therefore more understanding.I can not deny what God has witnessed to my Spirit....dc has been my teacher through scripture.....sorry dc...how you approach someone who doesn’t believe as you do is between you and God.
If you see my post above that is my belief...I kid you not..I have been more confused on my actual saving.
Than on osas.
Osas isn’t my focus.
Being more like Jesus is.....yes you can quote about the whipping and how you should approach false teaching.
But my calling is different to your’s.
I focus more on the fruits of the Spirit.....once again I relied on God to get me there and not man.
Once again he never failed me and got me to his truth.
I think we are more likely at different places in our walk with Him, me being at it decades longer than you have and have therefore more understanding.
I, for example, focus on doing what God wants me to do which produces the fruits of the spirit without focusing on them. A tree doesn’t focus on producing fruit. Fruit comes from focusing on nourishing. It’s a lot easier to focus on Him than on the fruit.
I would also recommend grounding your faith in the Bible and less on personal revelation. All false teaching I ever heard came from personal revelation not meaning that all revelation is wrong. Just needs to be backed up by the personal revelation the writers of the Bible had.
Do you think we don’t grow in understanding after decades of walking with Him?I disagree about you having more understanding....it’s not about us...our focus is on God.
Good answer. And don’t you think one learns as one goes along? What purpose of the baptism with the Holy Spirit?
The purpose is to give supernatural power and ability to a believer, that will enable him/her to fulfill his calling more effectively.
It is a power tool that helps you be more effective on your mission to represent Jesus.
Do you think we don’t grow in understanding after decades of walking with Him?
When a person focuses on God they cease thinking and talking about their own salvation. The OSAS doctrine prevents focusing on God as the focus is instead on us and our salvation.
Good answer. And don’t you think one learns as one goes along?
No it doesn’t. Surrender means you give up.
No one says He is. Have you experienced giving Him something of value to Him?You don’t understand what I say?
Only if one had engaged in self-effort. I never did so I can’t have stopped something I never began.
And that’s too limiting a view. Surrender is giving up WHATEVER it is you had. Most never tried to be good at all but surrender their lives as a whole.
Jesus stated "It is Finished"...that is the starting point...of out faith.
No, you don’t understand my view at all. I obey because I love Him and want to walk with Him hearing His voice. Those who keep his teachings, the Father loves and comes and makes His home in them. This state of living I love.
It may have been for you and others.
It wasn’t the starting point of my faith.
God revealed to my spirit that Jesus died on the cross for my sins...so it was heart revelation for me.
God has always revealed everything to my Spirit...then to make sure it’s from God I always check scripture.
I’m not led by my feelings now either...but have done in the past, most definitely.
It only because Jesus finished that we are able to start...otherwise we would still be trying to finish what He started.
He states the account is paid in full!![]()
Did you forget that when even Jesus was speaking, He said, “Whoever has an ear to hear what the SPIRIT Is saying,”.........![]()
To produce children? How else is it to be read? Children are produced through the intimacy of sexual intercourse.
