But you said it took you 28 years. Isn’t there a disconnect there? And if you couldn’t resist Him, why did it take 28years? Sounds very much like you were resisting Him.
I didn’t say feelings altogether are few and far between. But waiting til doing God’s will only when it happens to line up with your own desire mean you won’t be doing his will much.
There is no contrast with OSAS which certainly appeals to the desire to have a legal confirmation of one’s eternal destiny. That is a comfort to feelings.
Well that is what I read here. Some Osas members allow themselves wide manner of insulting texts if the recipient is not one of them. Some write they don’t even care. So under the cloak evil is allowed.
Never heard that one.Someone else was here years ago who repeatedly insisted Jesus rode a horse most everywhere instead of walking, simply because in their mind it would have been more convenient for Him to do so. Apparently it made no sense to them, despite what we are told in Scripture, that by land, walking was His main method of transportation

Sorry but it does not appear in the NT. We are talking whether a word is in the text and it is not. You cannot point to a meaning that is the same but a different word. The word was NEVER used by the apostles nor the Christ.YHWH is the Christ. So yes, He does appear in the gospel of St. John.
You see Dorothy....this is where you don’t understand.
He gave me a vision,I am not going into details.....it was a vision for me personally....it has taken the Lord 28yrs to work in me...I couldn’t accept my vision in my head because it seemed impossible.
Now my faith has grown in those yrs .....plus he has been preparing me for what I am about to receive,....I am ready to fully surrender to that vision.
Do you understand now?....if not don’t worry...I understand it and that is all that matters.
I do not think about any one thing 24/7. I have surrendered my will and my life to Him, and trust Him to guide me.
I have come to understand that some of them view those who challenge the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine as down right truth deniers with malicious intent.
I choose to view all of them as deceived without malicious intent and exercise patience and forbearance towards them.
