I'm not pitting scripture against scripture. You’re pitting Scripture against itself.
I'm bringing scripture into harmony with itself by understanding verses and passages in the context of the whole of scripture.

Here it is again...
Hebrews 6 says you can't come back. The Galatians, the Corinthians, and Revelation 2 show us he gives space before he turns you over so you can't come back.
Actually, Jesus said they are known by if they bear fruit.@Judges1318 you would do well to know that "false professors" teach false doctrine ........ and are known by that false doctrine and their followers.
Actually, Jesus said they are known by if they bear fruit.
Back to the subject.
Is a believer still saved if they go back to unbelief?
Yes.believe- to think to be true, to be persuaded off, to place confidence in.
is doing that about Jesus as Lord and Savior sufficient for salvation?
@EleventhHour , dcontroversal says they are.Is a believer still saved if they go back to unbelief?
Yes.
Pisteuo is what justifies.
In contrast to just pistis.
It's the difference between just knowing something is true, and actually putting your trust in it.
'Pistis' alone does not save.
'Pisteuo' does.
We know who has just 'pistis' and who has 'pisteuo' by the life they live.
We know who just knows about Jesus, and who actually knows Jesus by how they live.
Just knowing that Jesus is the Christ is not enough to save anybody.so, on other words, you do not think that belief in Christ saves.
Just knowing that Jesus is the Christ is not enough to save anybody.
Even the demons know Jesus is the Christ.
Placing your trust in Jesus is what saves a person.
We know who just knows he's the Christ, alone, and who has placed their trust in Christ, by how they live.
Just knowing that Jesus is Christ won't solicit the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Believing/trusting in him for the forgiveness of sin does that.
That's how we can tell who just knows Jesus is the Christ and who actually trusts in him.
We know it by the Spirit in them changing them into the person who does the righteous works God has prepared beforehand for the righteous to do.
I do not know who you are or how you live.it is not your place to know.
who do you think you are,, going around judging others.
you need to get off your fake moral high horse and understand you are not Heavens gatekeeper.
gb9 out.
She explained what she meant and I'm good with it.Yeah well, first you need to get the Gospel right....
And believing in God's forgiveness/Confessing sin.... is not the Gospel.
Works salvation ^^^^^Yes.

You wrote, “we know who just knows about Jesus, and who actually knows Jesus by how they live.” I thought you were talking about works with the second half of your statement.Trusting in Christ is not a works salvation.
@EleventhHour , dcontroversal says they are.
He cites 2 Timothy 2:13 as proof.
Do you agree with him?
I know you do, I just want you to confirm it again, please.
So you admit you’re a SINNER. Congratulations, you’re one step closer to achieving grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Are you perfect in all your ways?I do not know who you are or how you live.
I've just been sharing what the scriptures say.
You seem terribly convicted by them.
Don't get defensive. Take it to Jesus.
Fall on his mercy.
"‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God." - Luke 18:13-14
That's how I got saved.
I couldn't make the grade, so I asked for God's mercy and he forgave me and gave me a new life and set me free from my bondage to sin.
