Dismissive answer you provide ..... It reminds me of hebrews calling us not to harden our hearts
Heb 3:12-14
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
Sin is a dangerous thing, let it stick around and it destroys our faith.
It is why we need the light of Jesus to cleanse and purify us from all ungodliness
Titus 2:12-14
It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
This language is alien to many, especially those with hard hearts.
hahahhahahaha wow man...every wors is inspired....including IRREVOCABLE.....no wonder you miss the mark!
That is a good question. I have never thought about gluttony in this way, because the overweight people I know are casual eaters rather than gluttons. But maybe we should be more encouraging in these health areas.
I didn’t ask you if a born-again believer can APPEAR to lose their salvation; I asked you, is salvation is irrevocable? YES or No?
Don’t put any other word other than one of those two words (yes/no) to my question. Is salvation irrevocable, yes or no?
Famous Name, but bad theology.
Is salvation irrevocable? Yes or no.If you know Jesus, you know the answer.
Can someone make a confession of faith and then turn away and lose all they have? Yes.
The seed sprouting in a rocky patch. Was Judas saved and lost faith or never had faith at all?
The problem with these tests of spiritual reality, is those who abstain. In Christ my faith is irrevocable, without faith there is no hope.

Do you really expect to get an answerIs salvation irrevocable? Yes or no.
Is salvation irrevocable? Yes or no.
Salvation, properly understood, is actually about worshipping our Creator and not the safety of our rear ends.I field that question! If ya don't mind!
THESE people believed it was!
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The answer to yer question is YES!
Salvation IS revocable!
I know.... they nullify the cross and make it of no effect......it takes a lot of stamina to continually read their slander against Jesus and His grace.
Exactly.....the only straw they can grab and to same B.S. that those like them accused Paul of in his day....tells me all I need to KNOW about my path........i notice pattern that everyone who believes in a non-losable salvation of any type is always implied that they walk in darkness, sin as they please, have no fear of God, dont strive for holiness or whatever it is.
its always implied. rarely said directly.

The ignore function is GREAT.
One of the reason's this thread is so long (I love this thread) is because those who do not believe in eternal salvation given through and kept by the Blood of Jesus Christ just keep plugging along with what they say it takes to "maintain" salvation.
Ooo, I bet you say dirty words since your heart hasn’t been cleansed by faith. Try to remember that without a pure heart you won’t see Him, like He said.Exactly.....the only straw they can grab and to same B.S. that those like them accused Paul of in his day....tells me all I need to KNOW about my path........
Paul taught eternal life, by grace, through faith and irrevocable <--the liars accused Paul of licentious and a live as you please lie
Same carp they do to us....
To "believe in vain" is explained further on down in the passage (it is TO LEAVE OFF the VITAL aspect of HIS *RESURRECTION* [Paul was tasked with delivering THIS specific "msg"--that which INCLUDES His "RESURRECTION"--no one is saved apart from this Truth/believing this])
