I do not see Salvation being irrevocable or unconditional.

Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

-------------

1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

-------------

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Take it up with God....the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE.....salvation is a GIFT.....maybe you cannot add spiritually!!

That’s because it isn’t.

God can revoke and pull one's cord on any day he so chooses. Many men's names shall be struck from that great Book at the end of time. We must not point a bony finger at God and tell Him what He can and cannot not do.

Jude v20
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

the greek word for apostasy - apostasia- only used 2 times in N.T.

meaning- defection, a revolt, a departure from previous standing.

in other words, a purposeful turning away, as in one at one point believing , then turning away from believing .]

so, a willful act. no losing salvation, no salvation being taken away.

like most Bible thumpers, you toss around words with no clue as to what they actually mean.

maybe take a break from empty threats of loss of salvation and learn some theology...

The one who giveth the gift can taketh the gift away.

Oh, a DOUBTER no less. You do not believe in the ALL KNOWING POWER OF GOD. He knows EVERY DECISION you will make before the Foundation of the Earth. THUS HE CAN RIGHT OUR NAMES IN THE BOOK OF LIFE OF THE LAMB BEFORE TIME BEGAN.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Ironic that you got someone with a military photo up and preaching lack of accountability and faithless works when it comes to the Gospel of Christ.

Discipline, Accountability, and Works are a foundation of life. None of the naysayers have corrected. Some have tried to use my Spiritual status of unsure on my profile. Others have rebuked my improper spelling of a word when they knew what I was truing to convey but none of them have used scriptures without bias to disprove my point.

Unless they can prove that their is not a sin unto death or that their is possibility of names being removed from book of life, then they cannot prove that Salvation is absolute without maintenance or growth thru Faith thru works which encompasses overcoming the world and enduring until The end.

Not much else I can say that I have not already said with verses.

Pauline Pharisees need to stop using their interpretations of the doctrine of Paul to dismiss the will and works of the Father expected of us when it comes to our perpetual salvation

Obviously you have yet to hear the Gospel.

And what @dcontroversal is preaching is ....
What God desires believing on His Son for the irrevocable gift of salvation.

Your slander demonstrates your own unbelief in the Truth...because if you knew the Truth you would never make such a comment about someone who upholds Truth.

To my knowledge those that preaches a faith without works doctrine even unto maturity is preaching a Gospel of unaccountability and stagnation, and dead faith.

As someone who was in the service myself seeing someone with a service uniform preaching a doctrine of unacoutability seems to be hypocritical.

If the individual has not been preaching a Gospel that does not include works then i can apologize for slandering him. However if that is not the case my comment still stands.

WRONG.

OBEDIENCE IS NOT PART OF SALVATION, IT IS PART OF OUR AGAPE LOVE, that HE put in us when we first genuinely Believed, and then obedience happens AFTER WE WERE SAVED.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit [at Born Again]
who was given to us.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 “If you love Me [have been SAVED], you will keep My commands.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God [have been SAVED]
is: to keep His commands. [Gk. - present tense - implies a lifestyle change of striving to keep, NOT PERFECTION OF THAT VERB.]
Now His commands are not a burden, [Only when done out of AGAPE LOVE will it not be a burden.]
