Jesus is the one with the rope of love. He calls us, He seeks us, He saves us, He came to us, He suffered in our place and one day He will take us up into Glory.

The links and what they’re replying to are clear. If you even mention obedience, fruit, etc you are branded a work salvationist. At least that’s my experience

I do agree with what eternally grateful said though. Remember the quote that I had for my sig for a while.

When EG says things like that, you all high five him. When I say things like that, I'm a works salvationist

What was it that he said? Oh yeah, EG said "it is impossible for a Christian not to work, it is part of his new nature."

DC thumbs upped that one. But when I say the same thing, I get castigated.

I guess you all have your double standards. If that's what you like, OK.
