No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.
When I reach this stage I might drink a long ice-cold one. Maybe a couple.
You put ice in wine?
I have know people that do that HAHAHHHAH when it is hot and they are hanging for a glass HAH
Well, no. I was referring to beer. I guess that I extrapolated Paul's counsel just a tad but it was obvious that he didn't have anything against alcohol in general, in moderation of course. In reality, I probably will not be drinking alcohol the rest of my life. It is just a personal choice of mine and nothing really spiritual about it. I originally quit drinking to set a good example for my older brother who has been an alcoholic his entire adult life. I love alcohol but I chose not to drink. One day I would love to be able to say "I love nicotine but I chose not to smoke". As you must know by now, I am an addict and nicotine is my drug of choice. You put ice in wine?
Late 80's for me. Gave it up for good in 1992.

It usually is around 3% alcohol, if I remember Right.
American wine is around 14% alcohol.

Almost all Jewish holidays, especially the Passover Seder where all present drink four cups of wine, on Purim for the festive meal, and on the Shabbat require obligatory blessings (Kiddush) over filled cups of kosher wine that are then drunk. Grape juice is also suitable on these occasions.

Would it not be better, to go by the law. And understand you ARE unrighteous. So WHY is WHY you need to be saved?
And after we are saved, would it not be better to realize that you STILL are not righteous an focus on walking towards that goal by doing it Gods way (seeking after the spirit and LOVE) on a daily basis (paul called it to run the race) and not get to cokcy and think you have ever made it?
I just decorated my living room with everything that was in my mouth.A hyper legalist has a problem if a gnat farts in public.....
