Sorry DC please don't beat me up again
i agree. facial expressions and even tone of voice is different.Fair enough and I apologize if I came across mouthy.....the problem with words on a page....we cannot see facial expressions and or motive....

you can say in real life with a good tone of voice "you're crazy man!!" and its a positive friendly thing between guys. but if you say it with another tone of voice its negative, on the internet you can never tell.
With lots of crema?HAHAHHAHAHAHHA hilarious my brother from another mother across the pond......if you ever get on this side we need to have a cup of coffee HAHA
Ok
To be honest I interpreted the "We" in that as applying to those who you gave your opinion on.
Therefore not including you.
Can you see how I thought that?
You didn't come across as conveying it in a personal sense to you but was conveying it to many folks who think that Jesus is a pushover etc.
If I misunderstood that and you were including yourself then I apologise.
But note that if you were including yourself then you are in the same category of the folks that you have given your opinion on.
Any chance you could make me an Irish Coffee?HAHAH maybe SOME whole cream![]()
I think the bible talks about an age of accountability. Here is one verse in Deuteronomy about it.
Deuteronomy 1:39
“Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.”
Any chance you could make me an Irish Coffee?
What about dinner.
Fresh scallops with black pudding to start with.
Alaskan snow crab with a side of fries.
Finished off with black forest gateaux.
Then another Irish coffee to finish with.
Your paying.
Mr. M.....I think you are bringing together two separate ideas that are in fact separate
The old man and sin nature are not one and the same
When we are born again we put off the old man, the old man is our former position in the first Adam.
Everything we were in Adam #1 is gone. So yes we become a new creation in Christ, located there positionally and judicially.
.
I don't think I have ever thought that Jesus is a push over but think that he understands when I do sin. Not that I want to.I do understand and I get it.
Indeed I am conveying for I have thought Jesus was a push over and thought it’s ok I can keep stumbling over and over but I’ve got to wake up from that stinking thinking.
most of what I’m posting here applies to me mostly, rather people want to apply any of it to them selves I can’t say.
Sounds like a plan.HAHAHHAHAHHA How about a nice big fat juicy Ribeye off of the charcoal grill, a half kilo baked tater, salad and we can do some Irish creme coffee before and after HAHAHHA
and of course I will pay HAHHAHAHAHHAH

When you understand this you will understand why the doctrine of "perserverance" of the saints is not true OSAS but the carnal (as in the flesh) approach to OSAS.
The new man still resides in the body where the sin is ever present, there will always be a propensity for sin in our lives that is just a fact.
I don't think I have ever thought that Jesus is a push over but think that he understands when I do sin. Not that I want to.
But when I do he is interceding for me.
That doesn't lead me down the path of its ok to sin.
I hate it when I do and to be honest I carry the guilt when I do.
The reason being is that because I then try to make up for it by being better.
That does not work.
Would you say that in reality you think like I do?
Or do you genuinely think that Jesus was a pushover?
That doesn't mean that you see Jesus as a pushover.Yes I think I have, for I’ve said to myself why do I sin I hate doing it but it appears I don’t hate it enough to stop doing it from time to time.
it’s probably because I lack the self control to stop it, I’m not lifting my arm high enough to actually knock I’ll lift it up to a point then stop.
We admonished and exhorted to bring our practical state in harmony with our new position in Christ....however, we can and do grieve the Holy Spirit some more than others.
This again is why your statement about "we can sin as much as we want" is nonsensical
Our good deeds did not achieve salvation therefore our sins cannot undo salvation.
Like Jesus said......The Spirit is indeed willing, but the FLESH is WEAK
