But you and others are boasting of having superior faith whether you want to accept it or not.You claim to be trusting 100% in Jesus and I guess the professors are somewhere below that.Got to work harder to get to 100%. So even 99% trust will see us being lost?Who/what determines who is trusting 100% vs 99%?As I asked and you failed to answer:
"The way you and others try to claim, the faith of those who say they have faith, was not genuine, make faith into the work and a source of boasting which you despise so much. Those who have "mere" faith will not be saved neither will those who only have,"professing" faith. But what would you say is the amount of faith out of 100% that will get us saved? Is 50% the pass mark or maybe 60% or do I need 100%. What is the standard and who determines this?"
Can anyone from the superior(harder working)faith camp answer these questions?
These people easily claim they are unworthy sinners who can only point to Jesus and they have the
true faith in Jesus not to add anything to His work. But truly they are claiming 100% faith.
In this argument, commandments are sarcastic jokes, their failure is Gods intention, righteousness
and goodness is never achievable, the cross was God showing how great He is nothing more, and
He forgives who He chooses, and they are incapable of walking like Him.
But that is the joke. God has always been perfect, fulfilled, true, Holy, pure, righteous.
The power of the cross is to cleanse and purify us through forgiveness and love, to open our hearts
and cleanse us, to purify us through faith, empower us to walk and know the love that abounds in
Him. The apostles knew how incredible this is, so they stated as such.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you?
Let him show it by his good life, by deeds
done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
14 But
if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.
15 Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but
is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.
16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But
the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate,
submissive, full of mercy and good fruit,
impartial and sincere.
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace
raise a harvest of righteousness.
James 3
We obey Jesus because we love Him.
23
If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching
John 14
If one does not love Him, one does not obey Him. This is an important realisation, because rather people learn
this now than before the throne of God. Once learnt one can repent and accept His forgiveness and start
to learn what His means, and walk in His ways. Make no mistake God cannot be mocked.
7 Do not be deceived:
God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 The one who
sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature
will reap destruction;
the one who
sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit
will reap eternal life.
Gal 6
