Macabeus has answered 3-4 times now.

When you love God, love your wife/husband, you won't sin against them. And grace too is the divine influence upon the heart with its reflection in the life, including gratitude.

People who say belief is all that is needed to be saved is easy believism. Your belief does not save you. Salvation is a work of GOD.

What is repentance? It is a change of heart and mind that is wrought in a person by the Spirit of God.

Right belief does save....the Gospel of John clearly tells us to believe upon Jesus for salvation. Jesus is the object of our belief/faith and belief is being fully persuaded in the work of Christ Jesus on our behalf.

And we are able to repent....change our minds otherwise there would be no need for a call to repent in the Gospel.

The Gospel is the means by which God saves people. It is not the means by which they save themselves.

It's certainly what you said. Deeds reveal the condition. You are doing little here but chasing your own tail.

Jesus did say that deeds reveal the condition. Have you not read the several places in the Bible where Jesus said this.

Deeds are not the requirement, they are the RESULT of conversion. If you had read your bible with understanding you would know this.

So, if in a moment of grief, disappointment, or anger, a Christian doubts and stops believing, that proves they were never saved?

You do not understand faith. A Christian may lapse, but the Good Shepherd brings them home again. Every time.

Would a true believer would not do that. 1 John 5:1. A person who has been born of God (perfect tense) believes (present tense)

You actually have that verse turned around:
I John 5:1: "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God . . . "

the one who is believing (present tense) has been born (perfect tense) out of God

Perfect tense is a past action with continuing results. You are putting the present before the past.

Then you contradicted yourself when you said belief is continuous. Do you not know the definition of continuous?

Nice try. Continuous can mean uninterrupted, but it is also used as a synonym for Progressive. And I even used the word progressive in conjunction with continuous. Nice try though

LOL! You are funny! I know very well what the Greek perfect tense means. I have been studying and teaching it for many years.

It doesn't matter what you want the text to say: that does not change what it actually says!
