Not you, works/grace was an oxymoron from ben hur. my internet went down and I was off almost 2 hrs. and so I made myself busy and had to go back and checkHi calibob, and thank you for your comment;
Question, how did I contradict myself, was it here, seriously I do not see the oxymoron, please explain.
Quote: "After we are save our Practice which is our daily walk with Jesus Christian will have plentiful "good works",
You are forgiven my brother....Not you, works/grace was an oxymoron from ben hur. my internet went down and I was off almost 2 hrs. and so I made myself busy and had to go back and check
Amen Decon! Preach the word in season and out of season; like you say, "never stop"
Security of the Believer: Notice, we are called, we are loved, and we are kept for Jesus Christ.
Jude1:1
1) Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James,
To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and "kept" for Jesus Christ:
Doxology: A concise clear view of our Eternal Security; again it is God who keeps us, from the beginning until forevermore, praise God.
Jude1:24,25
24) To him "who is able to keep you" from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy, 25) to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
God bless!

Thank you for your comments.Keep us from stumbling. Keep; guard us from sinning; stumbling.
Eternal security? Yes in the sense of protecting us from sinning to present us faultless before HIS glory with great joy.
That's an oxymoron.
I always wondered why one of the qualifications for being an Elder is something that you cant control. I mean you can raise your offspring right and in the Lord, but at the end of the day we all make our own choices and if they end up disobedient, is it your fault? Who knows.Titus 1:6-11, 1 Tim. 1-7.
Ooooh Raaaah hahahahWhhoooo haaaaaa! Lol
hahhahahahhahahhaahhaBetter oxcymoron than oxycotton..lol

I know growing up I made terrible choices and it wasn't my parents fault.
BUT: I agree with you VCO, those are the qualifications and God knows why thats the best qualifications for an Elder, and so we follow them. Let God be true and everyman a liar. Was just wondering if anyone has a particular reason in mind for why that is?
