Harmony? There will never be harmony between a works based self righteous gospel and the gospel of grace through faith. So if your looking for harmony, you will not find it here. Unless you repent

There does not have to be agreement on any particular doctrine, but we can be in harmony concerning Jesus Christ. We believe in him and we are brothers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will never, as you have said, agree 100% of what you believe, but we can shake hands about Jesus, and commune at the same sacrament table

If I believe works are necessary to have EL, why must it always be attached to "self righteousness". I do my works according to the works that the Lord wants me to do and the Holy Spirit guides me to do. It is not for gain or self righteousness, but for the building up of the Kingdom of God as he wishes. You know how it works, you do the same things, so don't tell me you are not engaged in good works any time the Holy Spirit instructs. And you do it for the love of the Lord, not for gain or favor or because you are "self righteous".

So be with me in Christ. We believe and love him.

I gave you good advise and instead of acknowledging what I said, you attacked. A hauty, unhumble person will not have EL. God would not countenance a sharp, divisive argument with you everytime you knew He was wrong.

Listen pal.....your gospel is false and does not align with the bible...you lack context, correct interpretation, you twist words and deny actual definitions etc.....you peddle the same thing Jesus spoke to when he spoke of the many that come before his throne pushing their claim to know him and works as a ticket to enter....wake up and be honest before it is too late!

A lack of simple honesty with the word has led to more men in hell than can be counted......this is absolute truth!

He cannot get through his thick head that Salvation, heaven, and the Kingdom of God is a free gift just "believe in His Son" that is the work, believe in His Son period. Anything more or added to our salvation is a false gospel.
Benhur continues to say their is scripture that proves otherwise but he is misinterpreting God's word just so that he can prove his bias that the "Eternal Security of the Believer", is false. A False Interpretation always equals a False Application, every time. He has falsely interpreted scripture leaving him with a false application.

After we are save our Practice which is our daily walk with Jesus Christian will have plentiful "good works", Saved unto good works not save by good works, that is the "True Gospel." Benhure is mixing "Works and Grace", that is a false gospel.

I have an opinion about what it takes to be saved, and I will tell people that opinion. If they decide it is true, great, and about 1/2 of the Christian people agree with me. The other half do not, but I will take communion with them any time, because we all believe in Jesus and you are right, Jesus knows our hearts. So I can be a friend of decon or TT. But I do not think they would be my friends, ask them.

Fellowship is based upon Christ and you are conflating two ideas....friendship and fellowship.....I am friends with many people that do not know Jesus, but have no Christian fellowship with them.....that is the difference....I do not hate you, despise you, nor would I treat you poorly if you were my neighbors....IT IS THE DOGMA that you peddle that I cannot stand because, in my view, it is not biblical and that is what I OPPOSE tooth and nail. At the end of the day there is but ONE gospel that leads to salvation and eternal life....all the others lead to rejection by Christ and the lake of fire with eternal consequence.....my bible is clear...

It pleased God by the FOOLISHNESS of preaching to save them that BELIEVE.

I was talking about VCO and decon, 2 very powerful and opinionated people. I was not talking about you. If you love your church that is wonderful, and stay with it. I did not give you unsolicited advice to change your church. I said that VCO would not accept decon as his pastor, nor would decon accept VCO as his pastor.

What I did not say is Magenta, you too are obviously disturbed with your church and I would suggest you leave it so you can find a church that is closer to what you believe in. This I did not say, which somehow you have got in your mind.

I am concerned with love and unity, so if you find love and unity in your church, by all means stay and be happy. If you disagree with what I say, you have the right to disagree, but do it in a way that will offend me the least, lest through your words I decide Christianity is not for me, and you get to account for my blood.

BTW, I enjoy your designs and your nice words too. Thank you.

Do you ever get TIRED of being SO TOTALLY WRONG, about my beliefs. The only thing that I know of, that DC and I disagree on, as far as I know, is when the timing of the Calling Out Of The Bride Of Christ.

I do believe the BIBLE over and above Worldly Traditions, or Political Correctness, therefore I do not believe in ordaining women, he must be able to TEACH in line with our Beliefs, must be the husband of one wife, he must not be young man, they must have already had the experience of Raising Godly Children, he must be given to Hospitality, he must not be drunkards, he must not be greedy, he must not be short tempered, he must have a good reputation both in the Church and out of the Church, etc.

I believe that a Pastor MUST have all of those qualifications to be our Pastor, which DOES NOT exclude someone from being a Pastor in another denomination. BUT WE BELIEVE those are the Biblical qualifications for OUR Pastor, as outlined in: Titus 1:6-11, 1 Tim. 1-7. Maybe you want to belong to a Liberal Church, there are plenty around. We are a Conservative Evangelical, Bible Believing Congregation, and we believe that Liberalism does not belong in the Church. So what is your point?

I think he thought OUR PRACTICE OF LOVE a given. So I do not see an Oxymoron, besides I resemble that remark. Yes, I have been called and Oxymoron before. LOL.

a. To know the Lord
b. Have right to enter based upon what they have done

Sounds like the workers for, Cainlologists and Pharisees to me.......

No real trust into what Christ has done and no faith into the finished work of Christ.....tragic!
