Lol..i am asking "am i wrong" in my concept of thinking..lol not about tithing in particular..tithing is just a one fact of many in my statement

It seems tithing is part of your whole view.
Any way no matter, giving is about the heart, a cheerful giver, not about "giving til hurts" like some preachers like to preach.

I DID put that i prayed tgat God would SHOW ME..i am ACTING on the opportunities Hes shown and sometimes sacrifice is necissary..part os spiritual emotional and physical growth sometimes..
One thing I have learned.....we cannot out give God...hah 
Hi Undergrace, Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount let our giving be in secret and our Father in Heaven will reward us, this is how I view my giving and it is not only by cash that we can give of course. I love to give but I do not appreciate someone telling me how much I should give.
Giving to the Needy: Matthew6:1-4
1) “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2) “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3) But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4) so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Remember our parents taught us, "it is better to give than receive", is that in the bible...I think not but I will check my concordance....
Jesus said..."It is more blessed to give than to receive"....
But...we have to learn to be gracious recievers as well..otherwise ,stealing" someone elses blessing my mom says...i struggle..9x outta 10 theres strings attached from the giver :/
