The bible says "some are saved as by fire,they are saved,but their works are burned up."

You are framing doing works with salvation. Read titus and james.
In fact word search "works" in bible gateway.

That NT was written to believers.
Believers do works. They are not saved by them because they do them. They are saved believers doing works.

Sin isn't in our life is it? We died with Jesus at His Cross. Now we are resurrected in life. Our life is all about being in Jesus. If something of the past darkness rises and we slip into shadows, we get out. It's just old thinking, so we apply the blood of Jesus. No matter what is done! It's not the real us.

Isnt this true?

Dont let anyone or anything shame you because we aren't what we were and we are learning this every day.

I dont understand why you would think this way.

And I don't think you are getting the point. They all know they are in Christ Jesus. Every single one of these who are against works for proof of salvation. There is no charge laid to those who are in Christ Jesus.

We can be babes but know who we belong to, young men, fighting warfare against the world, flesh, devil, yet stumbling all over the place. No charge is laid. Confidence is in Him, even chastening, confidence is in the power of the blood to save.

Not how well we perform, or do works of power even. Do we know who has us in the palm of His hand?

Do we trust our Saviour who began His work in us, and will continue till the end?

I have been with these people for months. Have learned much from this thread.

The main thing? Secure in Him. And love for the brethren. That is no gossip against anyone. Complete acceptance. And no guilt poured on anyone.

Much support for newbies in the faith.

Repent of these words and learn from here.
