I hope no one takes that as a challenge...

and yet somehow after these little jokes we haven't lost salvation,Gasp,I'm in shock now if I would just let go of the electric fence I would be calm!forget the innards I need something to stop the release of pressure!
Yes i remember...I was going to add the bit also, i wish i did nowRemember, he was forgiven before he had a chance to repent, he thought he had to come back as a slave, his father gave him the greatest meal, that's grace 101
I hope no one takes that as a challenge...

Yes i remember...I was going to add the bit also, i wish i did now...Lesson learned...When ever posting, be sure to add the whole point or else we just type half the story lol...And it makes me wonder about his brother who was angry at his father because he was saying like he was the faithful son and became jealous,i will have to read more into that tomorrow, there is a big lesson in that some where...xox...

And because the father rejoiced in the fact that his son came back home, he did not condemn him for his wicked ways...Just like Jesus is always there for us, He never leaves us nor forsakes us, it is us who take steps away from Him, not He who walks away...xox...i think the brother was what Jesus was preaching against, we should be praising God about our brothers and sisters, not get mad. And boastful because we think we deserve what they got.
You avoid many scriptures to hold to your beliefs.. you actually understand not most scripture you propose.. but GOD is good and may you one day fall on the rock and be broken.
which variety "heads"?
Cabbage or Potato?
I don't care for that Pentecostal saying of falling on the rock. We are broken at the revelation of Gods goodness.
It sounds a bit like a curse to me.

The prodigal was reconciled to his father, but the elderThe older son engaged in religion. He was with His father, but he didn't have joy.
The younger son engaged in rebellion. He left his father because he thought it would be more fun on his own.
Compare the two with the fruit of knowledge of good and evil:
Good: This is what I should be doing to make myself right before God: religion.
Evil: This is what I shouldn't be doing, thinking our way is better than His: rebellion.
Both of them lead to ... nakedness.
Nakedness is hiding in the bushes from God's presence. Neither acknowledge Him. Both hide from Him out of fear of their own nakedness.
This leads to... being covered by Christ... He is our righteousness, He covers our nakedness. So that we can come out of the bushes and once again walk with Him in the cool of the garden. No longer looking at ourselves (and our nakedness), but upon Him and His goodness.
Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
It is the same as Christ saying, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me,which we will be broken, for it is no longer our will, but God's will be done, but whoever rejects Jesus,He will go against them.
Hi P4T...I am so glad you said this because i did read your above post and i stopped and pondered about it...I know because i realize from your above post that Paul trained Timothy up, and that`s when the penny dropped for me...I do have a few old school people i tend to stick with, i must admit i am not one for following any willy nilly, that`s why i decided i am not going to just fall and listen to preachers claiming to preach God word because the frightening thing is, so many today are twisting the word, now these warnings in the Bible i do take note off, the wolves in sheeps clothing, i believe now that i really need to be cautious as we all should, thank you for your post, i appreciate your advice...xox...
