You know the parable of the kings wedding supper is similar to the story of the little red hen..When it came to doing the work that was necessary to reap the benefit of the bread of the kingdom they all had others works to attend to.....you see, as I have said many times, we are all doing works 24/7, either the works of God or the works of self.....so dont be sacred of the word works....be blessed

its important to understand dc, I actually respect you alot, Knowing that you served as a Marine to protect the values and freedoms i enjoy as an american that is a very honorable thing. though you and I disagree alot regarding scripture, all im really saying to you is why not believe what is plainly there? if you will let this in, with all you already accept it wont condemn you in any way, you will not lose that sense of security and it will not in any way cause you to think your saving yourself or what you do is the source of salvation. what it will do is clear the way for Gods Word to have tangible power inside of you, produce the Godly fear and cause you to gladly work righteousness and that is where rest is truly found, and peace and confidence.
when all the word is accepted it changes the believer. Im not saying now nor have i ever said anyone is Lost, anyone is left out all im saying is this is as much scripture as " saved by Grace not by works that no one can boast...new creations created for the purpose of doing the good works prepared in advance for us to do." its not about doing enough good that God will accept us, He has accepted already any Christian who believes In Jesus thats fact. what causes the word toi manifest is to accept whats there that we dont agree with though. is my point. things Like this are not a condemnation, they are the clear instruction of God almighty whom im sure you have faith in, and Love in your Heart.
so at that Point, shouldnt we accept what He says of Loving Him as well? especially when we dont meet those standards? which no one does to begin with.......we grow and move forward in Knowledge and through that our lives become sanctified and good works are no longer looked at as keeping alvation or earning anything, Gods Word is designed to spur us to action that saves. this all being aid Only you and Jesus understand your Heart and Works what you lack, what you need to do better, what you need to repent of. and Hes patient and its truly a personal thing all im saying in a bible discussion forum, is no christian shoulod throw out the clarity that causes us to advance and live worthy of His sacrifice. its a process a life Long one.
