Amen. But it is funny how people say He is Lord and Savior but not our guide.
For some they have already arrived and there is not destination or work to be done.
I praise Him as my King and Saviour everyday.
But our focus seems to be what does the sermon on the mount mean.
For some it is just a condemnation fest, to drive them to rely on Christs work on the cross.
For Jesus it appears to be His guide to life on the rock.
It reminds me of how many suffer nervous breakdowns, or break up their lives as if
they do not care, only to discover it was their very foundation and peace.

I did mean what I offered. And I believe, one is our teacher/master in heaven, we are informed call no man master/teacher on earth in the same way one is our Father. There simply is no daysman, as if God was a man as us or what the Catholics call the Pope that stands between God and man as an infallible interpreter and umpire. And yes God is no respecter of person, having the faith of Christ as the work of God in respect to any man is to blaspheme the Holy name by which we are called heavenward.
I was not trying to single you out in respect to the other person you mentioned.
If I read my own writing I see my private interpretation as a personal opinion, I would think in the same way as with you if I could call you brother. Scripture, God’s interpretation to us the one source of faith, Christ’s not of us is that which comes from hearing him as the same spirit of faith. It is after no private interpretation, in that way there must heresies as the private interpretation of men as there personal commentary to what they think God is saying. I think like fingerprints every man differs in one way or another. The heresies cannot do dispite to the Spirit of the Grace of God, accredited to Christ’s faith in respect to his three days labor of love.

The foundation of my faith in Jesus and the cross. I have said this many times, so why is this a
question?
Imagine you are going on a perilous journey across a very dangerous mountain area.
You are going with a guide who has done this route before. Your life is literally in their hands.
Now if you do not go with them, you will never get there and there is no other guide who can
take you where you need to go.
Now some say you can agree with the guide and trust them fully and never travel and you will
arrive. Others say you can take any path you like because all paths lead to the same place,
you just need to first talk to the guide first.
Now funnily the only way of getting there is trusting the guide and following His path.
Funny that, how 100% faith in the guide means you go with Him.
It’s always good to carry a compass if a person could see
Imagine you are lame, blind, deaf and ,leper going on a perilous journey across a very dangerous mountain area. In regard to a promised healing You are going with a guides literally being carried whom had done this route before. Your life is literally in their hands. Now if you do not go with them, you will never get there and there is no other guide who can take you where you need to go. After reaching the half way mark the guides leave you?
We must be careful on how we hear our Savior .
John 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
It’s why I believe he gives us promises us knowing he keeps them giving us the confidence to hear Him as the light of His word leads us to the end. It is the good news (gospel)
John the Baptist when in doubt sent men to find out id he was the true messiah . He was given the spiritual meaning hid form the lost giving John confidence as an answer to his prayer.
Luke 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Try again pal....I can rightfully judge one's dogma that they espouse and make a logical conclusion....If the gospel and one door is "a" and you teach "b and c" I can surmise that you probably do not know the Lord.....it is the WORD that condems and the bible teaches eternal life in Christ based soley upon faith void of human effort...Paul was clear, to add WORKS OF ANY SORT equals a FALSE GOSPEL WITH NO POWER TO SAVE!
Because all who oppose the truth will twist what the one states when laying the truth bare...Just as the Pharisees did to Jesus....there are a handful of Pharisees on this site that consistently do this.......
If one who is not sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the prepayment of our eternal inheritance....they are not saved and can never lead or live a godly life in Christ!
Now add chapter three and understand that the LAW condemns all, for NONE can keep it.....and exactly why the righteousness of God is revealed in Christ on and upon all that BELIEVE!
Easy believism is a idiotic comment made up by the workers for.....EG, I and others have NEVER TAUGHT NOR IMPLIED that we do nothing AFTER BEING BIBLICALLY SAVED BY FAITH DIA GRACE......ANY WHO SAY THIS...nothing but deceptive frauds!
When someone says believing in Christ is easy, you just put your faith in Him.
Then when talking about morals and guidance there are no guiding principles or
passages of scripture or lists, but rather it is up to the individual believer.
And when it is pointed out repentance is often one the hardest humbling experiences
there are, this is dismissed that you do not even have to feel sorrow.
Repentance is just changing you mind and sin is a constant experience, from which
there is no end. And everything is just imputed from Christ, purity, holiness, righteousness
none of which the believer possess.
And good works are good works only if inspired by God, if they come from self they are evil
works.
So this is easy believism on almost every level.
It does not correspond to my experience of faith or those I know.
Now to call this idiotic is just propoganda. The above is enough to say there is
much to answer and much to explain, when compared to scripture.

A Christian who understands God's Spiritual truths and from that who they are, would never suggest to separate the two. They are glued at the hip. To mankind, God is Savior and Lord only by way of Spiritual guidance. Jesus died to awaken our spirit and to enable us to live by it. We have been bought at a price, therefore as we give Him our lives we must live by the spirit and not the flesh in order to make Him Lord of our lives.
I would say it more like: He is Savior and Lord, therefore our spiritual guide. What more is there for man to claim of Jesus and God?
I find these conversations so odd. A good work is a good work no matter who does it.
Now you claim no one believes in easy believism. But if one is saved eternally on a short
commitment, this is easy believism.
I saw a program where a short prayer is prayed for a new heart, and that was eternal
turning from death to life. As soon as you get mystical what is the point of change.
Some now say you can experience the Holy Spirit and not be born again.
And fruit of faith? Maybe never or many years later. How easier can it get?????
You cannot judge one's dogma when you can't discern the scriptures.
How hard id it to see that when Paul speak of works, he's only talking about the works of the Law?
He is always warning about Judiazers!
I don't even think Paul talked about the gnostics.
