we have another sinless here.. Even though he will deny it.. Do people actually study what they believe? if they did, they would see how bad it is.. contradictory it is..
" do we have to walk in purity and righteously to follow Jesus" yes.
reality re-phrase- should our goal every day be to walk in purity and righteousness? yes
by Biblical standards, do we fall short of that goal? yes
one more time, we need to use the Biblical definition of sin to determine how we are walking, just declaring ourselves pure and righteous does not count.
You have to realize who you are talking to.
He made a thread stating christ did not do enough to save us,. Thats all you need to know.
i don't get it, sorry, you say something that i do not understand, and then i ask you about something that you said, and then you say it is my premise. How so? If i am merely asking for you to explain something that you said? How is that my premise? Seriously i don't understand what you are saying here. Either you know what you said and can explain it, or you don't know what you said, and can't explain it and respond as you did here.

he can't name names, because there are non, and he knows it. so he just continues his strawman
EG - Thank you for commenting here, it is most helpful.
You are saying you continue in sin, and not walking in a righteous way.
How often would you say you sin and what is your greatest failing?
Ofcourse I am not here to put you on the spot, except you say I am a sinless
perfectionist, so I assume you are a sinner commiting sin.
Now suggesting there are none who say they continually sin, is patently absurd.
The exception is people who talk about walking in purity and holiness.
I do wonder how your brain works, it must just jump to slander and defame mode
and off it goes, not thinking what you are doing and demonstrating your own failure
in the process.

wow Peter are you saying your sinless?
This is almost a pure reformed position, with a tweek.
Or maybe you are unaware of what a reformed position actually is.
I wonder at such large accusations you are making.
The real crux is simple. Do we have to walk in purity and righteously to follow Jesus?
Yes. The question is how
Interesting question, because it is an error. No one can say they are without sin,
because only God knows, but we can say we walk in purity, holiness and blamelessly.
This does not mean we will not stumble in the future, but does imply we are washed
and cleansed by the blood of the lamb, and walk in communion with Christ, our bodies
being His Holy temple.
What people forget to point out, when you are washed by God, you are clean, or else
what is the point of being washed. You can become defiled by sin, through sinful acts,
but then you repent and confess and get yourself right with God, to restore your fellowship.
Sin has never been the real problem in our walk, it is the purity of our hearts and knowing
which things and in which way we should do them. But this is where the hyper-legalists use
sin to talk about motivation and style, rather than love and truth.

I am a dirty sinner, and I admit that. I'd like to see some others here admit that also. Or maybe their pride is too big or that log in their eyes has made them blind.. :/
it is like another person would do (who is no longer here)
they make a statement, say like, If we are in Christ we will not sin, which means if you are in christ, you would be sinless. and everyone who sins is not in Christ.
Then deny they are sinless..
The title of this thread is ridiculous. Some of the OP's views are just as ludicrous.. He must not realize that we are NOT saved through faith alone, but BY GRACE, THROUGH FAITH. Add on top of that banana split, the fact he keeps implying that HE is sinless, that's the cherry on the split, and here's the whipped cream: he proclaims all this while calling others names and giving insults.
What we have here, is a ridiculously constructed banana split by the OP (viewpoint, for those too dim to get the analogy)...
Edit: This post was for PeterJens. I thought I was on his "Did Christ do enough to save us" thread, and THAT was the thread I was referencing here.. My sincere apologies to Dcontroversal. You gotta cut me some slack, I ain't had enough coffee yet..lol
