Your works may end up falling short of the mark.....Philippians 2:12
[12] ...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
This work must be continued until the redemption of our bodies happens.
Your works may end up falling short of the mark.....
Phil 2:13
For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
So the split-second that you are not walking in the Spirit, God's salvation is no longer effectual, and you have either lost your salvation at that instant, or are heading towards the loss of your salvation either slowly or quickly but inevitably and inexorably? In other words, theoretically, you could gain and lose your salvation, regain and re-lose it a near infinite number of times? On again off again like a light switch? Or is salvation more like a bathtub where God has turned on the salvation faucet, and you have to do your best not to either by accident or on purpose pull the plug because if the water runs out you lose your salvation?Yes, if attempted in the flesh. But I am walking in the Spirit; spiritually minded; Because God through Christ gave me power, through believing on his name, to become one of the sons of God (John 1:12).
Amen! Which is why we should be walking in the Spirit for this to be effectual in us.
I don’t feel as you do but it’s your choice. When you find you don’t understand God please blame the theology you embraced not God. I understand God. I know what He does and why and what He doesn’t do and why. I bet no OSAS believers know this.
That statement might be one of the craziest that I have ever heard on Christian chat.I don’t feel as you do but it’s your choice. Next thing you're going to be telling us is that God asked you for some advice.
Yes a very disturbing statement indeed.....Her arrogancy is sickening.....Note she said.....I UNDERSTAND GOD
That, in and of itself should be a massive red flag to ALL thay she actually has NO UNDERSTANDING OF GOD.....
Isaiah 55 refutes her claim!

55:8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Do they take shifts? Her arrogancy is sickening.....Note she said.....I UNDERSTAND GOD

The tragic truth.....she openly said she was saved without ever hearing the gospel
Exactly...........Satan continually attacking the truth!!Do they take shifts?
Seems one leave, another creeps in...
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
God Bless!
Why does the Bible speak of quenching the Holy Spirit? Why does the Bible talk of the Holy Spirit departing from a man?He can’t let us go DorothyMae....he’s in our spirit.never to leave or forsake us.
A born again can’t throw their faith away.....

Jackrosie, I know the OSAS doctrine. It is not found in scripture so those who believe it can only repeat the doctrine. One even quoted to me a verse and didn’t notice it was in the command form meaning we must DO something.
You know, just like my marriage, I believe I need to love someone (God) and cultivate that relationship (with Him it stands upon obedience) with all that the relationship calls for to be secure.
Let me ask, if I may, do you believe you are required to love God as He defines that to be in order to be his?
I thought you were talking a put the OSASers.Do they take shifts?
Seems one leave, another creeps in...
Sure is....I prayed that God would make it stay forefront to combat the deceivers that peddle false gospels and that it would be the biggest, longest running thread in CC history!
