No, actually, believing and swallowing a false gospel like you have is the worst thing one can do!
Come on all you law enforcers and wanna be Pharisees and Sadducees , God gave us the mission of spreading the message of salvation to everyone. It's a rescue mission not seek and destroy. We are the chaplains and missionaries, not God's police officers or District Attorneys.
Enduring the tribulation and physical preservation...it is not about soul salvation
Spreading the Gospel means share the Good News, not preach the law. The law is a curse and Jesus died to set us free. Turning from grace to the law would like a free man returning to prison and squandering his bail and striking his bondsman. Which is the body and blood of Jesus. Is that difficult to understand?

all have their own catch phrase.
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
(Matthew 24:11-13)
- don't turn away from the faith
- don't betray or hate one another
- don't be deceived by false prophets
- don't let your love grow cold in the face of increasing wickedness
in the immediate context, these are the things which 'persevere/stand firm to the end' refer to.
He defines what He means by this saying through its negation. in fact, all these things are wrapped up in the first saying: that many ((those who do not stand firm)) will turn away from the faith. to hate one another, to be led away in deception by false teachers and prophets, to let love grow cold, all of this is the result of turning away from the faith -- because keeping the faith is loving one another & holding firmly to the truth.
stand firm in the faith. persevere in love.
these are non-physical properties, things of the heart and mind: to believe, to trust, to love -- things which are spiritual and mental, which produce tangible works but are themselves not physical works.
Hide Your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from Your presence
or take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

David prays that:
- God looks over and erase his iniquity, which is always before him ((v.3))
- God creates in him a clean heart
- God gives him a persevering spirit
- God keeps him in His presence
- God restores joy in him
- God grants him an obedient spirit
- God causes him to persevere
only the iniquity and sin - and the petition to God that God Himself do all the work which results in David's perseverance.

what made me get saved from works salvation was many things but big thing was when i realized this verses:
1Jn 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
its many verses but also the famous verses where Jesus says if one sheep goes astray He will go look for it and bring it back. also the verse that says who believes in Jesus has passed from death to life and wont come to condemnation.
if that guy comes to condemnation then that verse is a lie.

Well......morning peeps....rain, in the 50's today in Missouri.....have the workers for, salvation losers, Pharisees and religionists done enough to gain, keep or maintain salvation.....NOPE....Never have, never will....Many (plenteous in number) will say....

The while bible in context points to a grace, faith based salvation that is given, maintained, finished and completed by Christ...You know why works, fruit, labor will NEVER SAVE OR KEEP SAVED?
Because WE do not do any of those things....it is JESUS THROUGH US as a living sacrifice that is DOING ALL THE WORKS! AND the SPIRIT OF GOD brings forth the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT....

Amen, so thankful that is not what I do, not do, that keeps me saved but what Jesus accomplished for me that keeps me saved!
Morning Ruby.....oh yes.....gets to about minus 25c and generally about 6 to 8 good snows a year.....anywhere from a dusting to as much as 3 feet......usually about 6 to 16 cm per snow......and yes......Had almost 37 at my house in NSW a day ago......gonna warm up fast
