Eternal life isn't a reward, it is a gift.

It is impossible to engage those that will deny obvious truths in the bible.....
Eternal life isn't a reward, it is a gift.

Aaah, this doesn't sound like a done deal:
John 15:1I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
Maybe this part is missing in your bible.
, but the first part should have been bolded don't you thinkEVERYONE TAKE NOTE....NOOSE which is a deceiver JUST EMBELLISHED the word of GOD THE BIBLE SAYS
John 15:1I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes
So what.......
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Remember, that is assured, no matter what we say or do or believe, by your very words DC You are threatening us with the very thing you say can't happen.
Eternal life isn't a reward, it is a gift.

104,107 posts later and still right where it started? what does that sayThere is ONE gospel that saves a an/woman eternally
The conflated gospels you guys preach, ACCORDING TO THE WORD of GOD.....HAS NO POWER to save!!!
I don't think you understand salvation then. Why numerous warnings and instructions for a done deal?1.) God is perfectly good and just and righteous.
2.) God chose to create this world and made man and woman in His image.
3.) Man being made good, still decided to do what he was instructed not to do.
4.) God's perfect justice decided death is the punishment to go against His will.
5.) Man fell from grace because of iniquity.
6.) Although God is perfectly just and injustice must be punished, He is also merciful and loving.
7.) God provided a way for His creation to be saved, while still fulfilling His perfect standards.
8.) His just wrath was poured on our only hope, Jesus Christ who we can trust in to be saved from the righteous punishment we deserve. Justice was fulfilled for those who believe in Him on the cross.
9.) Those who hear the truth and have the indwelling response which is belief/faith, are then given a quickened (made alive) spirit and a new heart.
10.) All who have been made new (born again) are saved by God Himself already and kept by His power.
bump for you from yesterday

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 3:24,
"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"
Romans 8:32,
"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
1 Corinthians 2:12,
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
Revelation 21:6,
"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely."
Revelation 22:17,
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
You say salvation is a reward... but the bible says it is a gift, freely given by grace through faith

The brunch in Him that doesn't bear fruit is cut and thrown into the fire, nothing about brunches being eternally attached to Him.
, but the first part should have been bolded don't you think
I have, have you? The shadow of what was to come anyone could have done that, have you ever read what Christ did when He got here? Just the warm fuzzy parts I see.My schoolmaster pointed me to CHRIST as the cure.....you state clearly that you have not seen the cure
Do you even know what FRUIT IS ? ? ?
I have, have you? The shadow of what was to come anyone could have done that, have you ever read what Christ did when He got here? Just the warm fuzzy parts I see.
Why do you leave the last part?
Eph 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
My point is, brunches are not eternally attached to Jesus meaning that it is far from being a done deal, talk about brunches but if you want to talk about fruit, be my guest too.
Do you even know what FRUIT IS ? ? ?
