I don't think you understand salvation then. Why numerous warnings and instructions for a done deal?1.) God is perfectly good and just and righteous.
2.) God chose to create this world and made man and woman in His image.
3.) Man being made good, still decided to do what he was instructed not to do.
4.) God's perfect justice decided death is the punishment to go against His will.
5.) Man fell from grace because of iniquity.
6.) Although God is perfectly just and injustice must be punished, He is also merciful and loving.
7.) God provided a way for His creation to be saved, while still fulfilling His perfect standards.
8.) His just wrath was poured on our only hope, Jesus Christ who we can trust in to be saved from the righteous punishment we deserve. Justice was fulfilled for those who believe in Him on the cross.
9.) Those who hear the truth and have the indwelling response which is belief/faith, are then given a quickened (made alive) spirit and a new heart.
10.) All who have been made new (born again) are saved by God Himself already and kept by His power.

It states that over the last two years a plethora of salvation losers and workers for have come and gone while peddling conflated gospels, deceitful twisted truths and a rejection of the word of GOD.........now.....go read the whole thread....we have covered MANY topics and rabbits.....
You better learn to trust in Jesus instead of yourself and your own understanding.
In God's inspired written Word He has left instructions for the decieved, encouragement for His children, and many verses for reproof so that we can be more effective seeing His will in greater detail.
Ultimately, with the scriptures in context.... we are indeed saved by Jesus and not of ourselves.

Why do you leave the last part?

It is funny, dc realised he was wrong about the vine and branches and scrubbed the whole posting.
Some groups believe no branches are cut off the vine, just tied up and will have fruit later, except this
is not what the parable says, so is just rewriting scripture.
And the lesson is simple dc does not have Jesus's words dwelling in His heart, because the meaning is simple.
Abide, fruit, will be refined, no fruit, cut off.
Do not abide, die, thrown in the fire.
Abiding in the vine is such a central theme in Jesus, any serious believer would know these realities.

Warnings --->Loss of reward, shame, chastisement and maybe even the forfeiture of physical life......

Fruit is works from the love that dwells in our hearts, words that come from the word that dwells in our hearts.
Every believer in Christ knows these truths because it happens in their lives, when the truth of Christ is
personally expressed as they witness to Him.
And knowing what the fruit is does not change whether it appears or otherwise, because this is the work of
God.
It is odd that some argue fruitless people are actually saved, while their fruitless state is not their choice,
rather it is a reflection of the lack of life in Christ in the hearts. God bless you
