I've said things from my heart. Why do I say this? Out of the heart the mouth speaks. And as a shepherd has a staff to ward off the wolves, the wolves never like the staff, and call it unkind.

What if you decided you are going to try and put things a nicer way, bury the hatchet with those you deem yourself to be fighting against, and not come out with your wild condemnations? I mean if you say no to such a thing, and continue being the way you are, is that just sinning out of compulsive behaviour even though you 'do not love sin, want to sin, or look for excuses to'?

Wild condemnations? You're tripping.

Any condemnation of others actions from myself were founded, such as the lies and false teachings, the condemning of others as lost, saying the cross is not enough, security in Christ is an idol, that the imputed righteousness of Christ is a neat little trick that does not work, all things propagated by PeterJens upon others in this thread.

Can you give an example of good works you have done on this thread? Or do works only count when you are outside of the thread?

Why are a lot of people saying God is Love but leave out the weightier truths about God, just sayin', you have a half of a gospel and not the whole, Kumbaya

Because it's "easier" to support love than to acknowledge one's sins.

After Jesus of Nazareth was baptize by John, He went in to the wilderness for 40 day's and 40 Night's, (Proving that He did not eat both day and Night); and then to be tempted by the devil and thereby secure His Credentials as the Messiah as foretold by Prophets of old.

TT - so my friend, you do not understand why Jesus shared the choice before Him.
Peter was rebuked for saying He was not going to die.

Jesus asked His friends to stay with Him in the garden, to empathise with the pain and
trouble this was all going to be. The gospel writer describes him thus

Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”


39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”
Matt 26:39-42

To die for us was a choice, it cost Jesus the most, a place He did not want to go.
In knowing this price and this struggle, we know even in God, love drove Him on.
It was not easy, or simple, or inevitable.

If you knew communion and empathy you would know how important it is to feel
anothers struggles to get an understanding of the balance in their life.
God wants us to know and understand His heart.

So when you say this is "foolish thought" that you are calling God foolish.

That is neither wise nor mature.

The people asked what works of GOD they should do... the Messiah taught them to Believe... this is the work of GOD.. so it all starts with Believing.. that we all agree on.


Glory to Heavenly Father and our Messiah always and forever.

I heard a man say that once....I told him we are not catching flies.....and ALL the men inspired said at one time or another very hard things directed at both believers and unbelievers alike......the truth cuts hard and pierces to the very inner being and core of a man or woman and is a judge of the thoughts and intents of the heart.....

Remember the one message JESUS preached.....70 men who had been bragging and boasting about the devils being subject to them in his name got offended, said who can bear this and walked away peeved with their feelings hurt.....sometimes the bare naked truth with no coddling needs to be leveled at certain individuals if but for the shock value to make them open their blind eyes like an alarm clock at 4 am on high........

It's no longer unbelievable. He most certainly preaches a works gospel.

And doing it, he wants to bring Christ a little lower.

Imagine that: "Let's take some exaltation away from Christ and His Work, and place some emphasis on, well, me."

Doesn't that attitude sound all too familiar?

AMEN as we have always stated......the only people who falsely accuse us are those who believe they have to work for it, those who push a sinless perfectionist false dogma and or those who teach it is not eternal.........

not exactly as it is written "fear God for only he can destroy both body and soul" so really the motivation should be to do right by God,but it isn't our works of doing right that saves us,it is accepting Jesus as saviour and asking God humbly and sincerely to save one's soul that saves one's soul.
 
What if someone is a piece of you know what their entire life then says oops I'm sorry God on their deathbed?
