. .Amen,
And Jesus made that clear.
He also said, if you struggle and heavy laden, give me it and I will give you mine, it's light.
If memory serves me is he not interceding for us as well?

what does it mean to believe instructions ? does that mean carry them out like on the field of battleIt also says he is the SAVIOR of ALL MEN, especially those that believe.....study more Jimmy before you make comments that lack the full truth
Amen, sin is no longer the issue between man and God, the issue is whether we believe Him or not.
To me this is non-sensical. Jesus speaks to me because He knew how to respond to people, how
to handle sin and work things through. The issue has always been to know Him and walk with Him
is to learn victory and love through this communion, but in love not legalism, in humbleness and
a broken life not pride and self confidence.
To say knowing someone like an old boys network is not a spiritual solution.
Jesus paid the sin debt for the whole world. How is that nonsensical from a Christian perspective? Only those who reject the propitiatory shedding of Jesus' righteous blood as a covering for their sin pass into the second death. All else, those who believe on Him Whom God sent, pass from death to life ever after. That is the promise of God as borne out through the witness of God's revealed written Word, and the Living Word of God. It is not a license to sin.To me this is non-sensical.
Don't put words in my mouth.
I am ok with what I posted as I feel it reconciles what I believe.
Yes believe in him and you will be saved.
You reject the word, who was the beginning and through all who was created then you reject his sacrifice for sins.
I am not a Hebrew but who was the book of Hebrews written to?
What issue was the writer addressing?
He wasn't writing to the Gentiles.
The gentiles would have no idea a regard to the Law of Moses and it's reference to the O.T
To be honest the bible verses you have quoted above I don't quite get why.
Maybe you could expand for me .
Remember I am a simple man with simple thoughts.
Does your version of leagalism give you devine right ?Thank God he set us free from the legalism that permeates most religions.....
He that believes on the Son is having everlasting life <--the simplicity found in Christ

Amen, sin is no longer the issue between man and God, the issue is whether we believe Him or not.
If we remain in the first Adam, we die the second death.
Hebrews has nothing to do with what I posted.
YOU said we will ONLY be judged by our belief in Jesus.
NO.
Jesus demands obedience.
We are to obey HIS COMMANDMENTS.
I'm not going through them again.
If those reading along want to know Jesus, they should read what JESUS said.
Mathew 5 to 7 is a great start.
As far as Hebrews, it was not ONLY written for the Hebrews who were thinking of going back to the sacrificial system,
it was ALSO written to gentiles who might have been thinking of leaving the faith.
One cannot leave the light to go back into darkness because THIS is trampling on the Son of God.
THIS ALSO applies to Christians.
IF we are in the light, an go back into the darkness, we DO trample of the Son of God.
Hebrews 6:4-6
I've asked repeated times for a verse or two where Jesus said to ONLY BELIEVE IN HIM,
but I haven't gotten ONE so far.
Know why?
There AREN'T ANY.
There aren't any because Jesus did not come to earth to die on a cross so we could ONLY BELIEVE IN HIM and be saved.
NO.
He came here to set up His Kingdom.
You're either in it or out of it.
If you want to be in it, there are rules to be followed.
Hebrews 12:1
Hebrews 10:38-39
Hebrews 12:14
Hebrews 12:15-16
Hebrews 12:25
Hebrews 13:7
And let's not forget
Hebrews 9:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through [a]the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The blood of Christ will cleanse us from DEAD WORKS to SERVING THE LIVING GOD.
Nowhere in the N.T. do I read that we are not to serve and obey our Lord.

You are a funny one indeed with all your accusations. The Words of God are my eyes and my ears, I see not and hear not except through His eyes and His ears. I judge not because His Word judges. By their fruits you shall know them. He that saith I know Him and keeps not His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:4)
Act 17:30
In times of this ignorance God winks at; but now commands all men every where to repent:
Heb 10:26-27
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Rev 14:12,
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Ok time for me to really sleep. Goodnight all
Fluffy words.
Prove it.
Then ....Christ Jesus!
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, [SUP]6 [/SUP]who gave himself as a ransom for all people.
