Don't come into what? Christ? The kingdom?
As Inwe...it’s not about us...it’s about God
Don't come into what? Christ? The kingdom?
Yes, you are forever saved, if you keep believing. No offence Judges..God has promised me that I will be saved until I take my dieing breath...then I will be reunited with my Father in Heaven, where I will see him in his Full Glory.
Everybody knows that.As Inwe...it’s not about us...it’s about God
So my Faith in God is a prerequisite to enter into heaven?Yes, no one can snatch you away from Christ against your desire to remain in and continue to believe in Christ.
What you are free to do is stop believing in Christ.
And no unbeliever has any place in Christ or the kingdom to come.
It’s not an Arminian vs Calvinism issuePlease allow me to ask you the following questions, they will tell if your views lean more towards Calvinism or Arminianism:
Do you believe that God chooses some to be saved and leaves others to go and burn in hell?
Do you believe that Jesus only died for those whom God has chosen according to His sovereign will?
Everybody knows that.
Nobody can save themselves.
We are saved through our faith in God's power to save.
That's why we must continue to have faith.
Osas may be a Calvinist term (which I think is pet if the problem)I thought the OSAS doctrine is a branch of Calvinism. It seems to be in harmony with it. Well I stand to be corrected
It’s not an Arminian vs Calvinism issue
The fact you are trying to make it one is not helping
I reject loss of salvation is possible hence I am not close to Arminian
I reject double predestination. Hence I am not close to Calvinism or fatalism as I call it
I hate and appose both belief system
Why can we not just look at the Bible and what it says instead of trying to argue some particular doctrine?
Not trueIt is. It comes from the 'P' in TULIP.
Now we have the new osas to contend with.
In it, you don't even have to keep believing to remain saved.
Calvin didn't even believe that!
Again “WE”......we do not keep ourselves saved....God keeps us....also as I have learnt to trust him in certain areas,he has increased my Faith.....
That’s why these debates are almost defeated from the begining people make a Calvinist/Arminian argument where there is nonSome of us have a balanced view instead of the two extremes of Calvinism and Arminianism. The alternate view does not discount certain truths from both sides, but considers the full spectrum of truth in a more balanced and well rounded way.
If you taught eternal SECURITY you would not teach the insecurity which comes with a possible loss of salvationI teach eternal security.
But you don't believe that because you define it outside the boundaries of what the Bible actually says.
AmenThe elect are kept by the power of God.....we are the elect...he knew us before we were born.
Luke 17:5
And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
God does increase our faith...
...xox...
Paul told Timothy to hold on to the Faith, which means there is a possibility that one might loose the Faith. Well I don't want to loose the Faith, so how can I be certain that my eternity is secured?I teach eternal security.
But you don't believe that because you define it outside the boundaries of what the Bible actually says.
All these are true for the believer, not the one who stops believing.John:27.
My sheep listen to my voice;I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;no one can snatch them out of my hand.
My Father who has given them to me,is greater than all,no one can snatch them out of my Fathers hand.
I and the Father are one.
So you see Judges....God does not lie to his children.
Are you at this moment believing and trusting in Christ?Paul told Timothy to hold on to the Faith, which means there is a possibility that one might loose the Faith. Well I don't want to loose the Faith, so how can I be certain that my eternity is secured?

Show me where any of these promises are addressed to those who stop believing.
