I'm not familiar with that one, but I've seen several thorough and incontrovertible debunks of satellites such as the Himawari (not sure I spelled that one right). Himawari was another weather satellite but a couple truthers were able to dig up the files from NASA's site showing a database of simulation data going out YEARS if I recall. This stuff isn't real photography; it's all fabricated. In some cases images are stitched together from swaths of data and blended together, in other cases the whole thing is simulated. In the case of Himawari, they were generating whole Earth simulations and then slapping a terminator (line of day/night) over part of it to obscure it and make it look like a photograph.
The technology these guys have is incredible, and soon we won't be able to even tell the lie. We're not quite there yet though.

The guy who did this video, Paul on the Plane, is an absolutely phenomenal investigative flat earther and Christian. He has a YouTube channel. As a photographer, he debunks official NASA "photographs" and proves they are fake and how they are faked.
how do you think i can look at a weather map and see exact matches with reality, when rain will be here, to the minute, and real-time lightning strikes that 100% comport with my experience on the ground?

Clearly you didn't watch it because his proof was an archive of files pulled off government servers showing whole-Earth weather data in files named by date, including dates that HAD NOT HAPPENED YET.
If you want to be taken seriously, you cannot converse from a position of ignorance, friend.
I'll be watching! You'd think that NASA would pay attention to this stuff, but you know, they've proven themselves to not be all that too brilliant. I mean, they claim to have "lost" the technology to get back to the moon. How absurd.

if you have a link to a database of weather data for 2035 you can link it to me.
a network of barometers and anemometers & humidity sensors does not give you real time, accurate precipitation & cloud cover information.
i have real time, accurate precipitation & cloud cover information at the tip of my fingers.
i can literally look at the sky, look at a satellite image of the sky in my area, and see the exact cloud i am looking at from the ground.
ground-based weather sensors 10 miles from me cannot possibly be giving me those images.
i can literally pull up a satellite tracking service app on my phone and get detailed forecast of a satellite about to cross my local sky, to the minute, telling me exactly what path it will take. then i can look up and see it exactly as predicted.

if the earth is flat satellites are impossible. yet there they are... travelling in absolutely predictable apparent arcs across the sky, not straight lines, and not great circles.

if the earth is flat lunar phases are impossible - yet i am looking at it.
if the earth is flat nighttime is impossible - yet it is.
if the earth is flat the sunrise is impossible - but guess what will happen in the morning?

Once again, you simply don't understand what serious flat earthers believe. Satellites are absolutely real... but they are suspended on balloons. Go ask Google the question "Who is the world's greatest helium consumer?" #1 is NASA, #2 is the Dept. of Defense.

SPOILER ALERT: NASA calls it a satellite but also admits it was a balloon!
To clarify: I don't know if Himawari is one of the satellites up there, but it's not sending us real whole-Earth pictures, that is certain. Balloon satellites record data in swaths.
There ARE balloon satellites above the atmospheric layer where the weather is, and there are plenty of ground based Doppler stations.
In case there was a misunderstanding, satellites are real, but they are balloons, not in space orbit, and they don't see the whole Earth at once.
Well, sir, as a general "round-earther," I am happy that you and I were able to have an enjoyable chat about these things. I'm sorry that this thread has turned to its usual insults that come with "christian" forums. I apologize to you that you cannot be treated with the same dignity, honor, and respect that you and I have shared with each other. Truly, it amazes me that "christians" attack each other as they do . . . especially at a "christian" forum.
Truly, I enjoyed our time while it lasted. But, now that things have turned to crap, I'll have to unwatch this thread. Thanks again for all of your insight . . . you have no idea of how much I appreciate it!

Honestly, don't let the frustrations of others get to you. I do understand how the globe believers think because... I WAS one just a year ago! When you are SO convinced you are right (and people who grow up believing something their whole lives generally are) it's hard to wrap your mind around why someone else sees a completely different truth.
I just try to do my best to be honest, straightforward, humble, kind, and informative. The rest is in God's hands. A lot of serious flat earthers say it took them years of internal wrestling to come to the conclusion that the earth is actually flat. So I begrudge no one the struggle!
P.S. I think you are a flat earther at heart...

There are four flat earth threads in the conspiracy forum, this is getting out of hand. Like the belief in space aliens. lol
I will say this though, how I stumbled across the concave hollow earth theory, was by googling the flat earth. I started seeing flat earth propaganda in different places where I used to live, and wanted to know what was wrong with people. lol So, the only benefit I see with people promoting a completely brain dead ideology, is that it makes people question. Questioning is good.
With that said, I would like to be part of the movement, that helps put an end to this 4 thread mini-series of stone age thinking.

I appreciate everything about your post. You know, after thinking about whether or not I'm an FE or RE, I'd more say that I'm just after the Truth. So far, no one can show me a flat earth (though I think there's more evidence for it) and no one can show me a round earth without using a fisheye lens, which I find to be absolutely stupid. Why anyone would use a fisheye lens so as to corrupt what an actual item, be it even earth, looks like, is beyond ridiculous. If I were at the edge of the breathable atmosphere, the LAST thing I would want is a fisheye lens. I would want to take photos of what I ACTUALLY say so that I could remember what I ACTUALLY saw. I find there to be absolutely no use or function with an FE lens. They make absolutely no sense.
I take no other approach to FE and RE than I do to regular Bible Study. I'm not searching for things that aren't "there." I don't look for Scripture that I can distort so as to create the concept that I NEED to believe (and push). Instead, I have collected passages on certain topics so that I could formulate a logical, reasonable, rational conclusion. And why is it important that I know and understand the Holy Truth? Simple: I have felt the Raw, Almighty Power of God to the degree that "it" nearly killed me. I can testify that no human flesh can endure the presence of the Lord and live. After this experience, it became obvious that the Lord Truly is in control of all things. I came to realize, that day, that our hearts beat because the Lord allows them to. Our God is so all-knowingly Powerful, that each heartbeat is supported by Him. Therefore, because I have and know True Fear of the Lord, I'm not messing around with anything other than the Truth. And this is why I say that I don't care if the earth is flat or round . . . it makes no difference to me. I have felt the Power of God and understand that He can do absolutely anything. He can make a round, flat, rectangular, concave, octagonal earth . . . it makes no difference. Thus, all that I care about is the Truth. So again, as I attempt to explain, if I teach someone something that is not True, I am actually taking them AWAY from the Lord . . . and that's a scary notion in relation to my Spiritual experience.

As I began to listen to this video, the constant insults of intelligence really turned me off. As Christians, we're just not supposed to do that. So, that video went into the christian forum toilet. Sorry.
