Shall we start then?
But before we do, I would like to add that if the word "anything" was the end of the sentence, THEN it would be a blanket statement, but that is not what was written, and therefore you twisted what was both said and meant.
As for using scripture or the promises of God, I will give you one I just used.
Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
If I were to remove the words, "out of the good/evil treasure of his heart", the verse would read like this;
A good man bringeth forth good things, and an evil man bringeth forth evil things, for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
I did that only to show that it is the man himself causing the things to be brought forth by the things he says.
The words "bring forth", means to produce, which I would interpret to mean, to cause to be or to manifest in the natural, by what comes from the heart out the mouth.
That's basically what that verse says to me.
How do you interpret it?
Break it down and expound on it.
What does that verse say to you?
Who was that masked critter anyway Batman....I thought it was theMaybe I can just "Name it and Claim it?"
Jimmy got rich, when he divorced Eleanor Rig...oops! I meant Tammy Faye! And quit puttin' out all that dough, she spent on make up!![]()
Try answering some of the questions I've poised to you that you have so conveniently ignored. Why don't you use the word of God to do the talking?
The person said, "that is biblical".
It would be nice to have an intelligent discussion about the subject of the thread instead of responding to ignorant trolls.
Try disproving the promises we use, it might get you a little further.
Without the truth of God's word, your words are like your prayers, empty.
You got some answers for this?True, "Name It and Claim It" theology" can be simplistically dangerous. But at least its proponents are trying to honor Jesus' generalizations on the power of believing faith to routinely produced marvelous answers to prayer. I prefer their misguided spirit to the unctuous sarcasm of many of the posts here who create insipid straw men as a way of ducking the problematic glowing promises of Jesus in the Gospels that generate this tragic theology.

There is no reason to believe that Jesus owned his own home. If he was wealthy as you say, why didn't he own a villa in the suburbs of Jerusalem and a nice cottage in Galilee? Nope....he stayed with Peter and literally slept outdoors at the Mount of Olives....probably with permission of the owners. Jesus never once was the host or entertained guests. The money bag held by Judas were probably topped up with public donations.I dare say, it was similar, not the reciprocal.
Jesus was both healthy and wealthy, and knew His words were the power of God.
But aside from what anyone says or does, WHAT IS WRITTEN concerning the promises of God on the subject? That's what matters.
How did Jesus and His male apostles support His public ministry? They lived of the money donated by well-to-do female disciples who traveled around with them (see Luke 8:2-3). This is particularly significant because no other itinerant rabbis from that era recruited female disciples, let alone allowed them to travel with them. That is one of many reasons why Jesus can be considered the first Christian feminist.
No, there is not a shred of evidence in the Gospel that any men made donations to Jesus' ministry. Of course, Jesus was at times invited to dine with people. But I'm talking about money, not food.

He has a morning broadcast show near one of my residence it's like watching a comedy show not knowing what the next sales pitch coming in a few minutes then listening to him tell you how great it is or why you have to have it.....just hysterical .IMO, he has revisited the huckster he once was and compounded the error by selling by 'donation'
He should just use shopify or something and quit the duplicitous selling schemes he now operates
and doesn't his wife have a jewellery line? can't change a leopard's spots I guess
I don't care if a Christian sells things or owns a store or whatever...but unless you give things to the poor, it's not a 'ministry'

You are very negative, not me.
I'm realistic.
If I had found more passages in the Bible than you did, would that make me right?
There are not contradictions in the Bible.
If you can't make these passages I listed line up with your passages, then you don't know it all.
I would say this was just not his main goal. And if you would not ignore John 20, 29-30 you would recognize this.
Sorry Budman this was asked to you.
