Ive only been to a Methodist church one time. They do open communion and im pretty sure baby baptism other than that you will have to look elsewhere. All im sure of is the split and that is from my granddaughter. As far as what is bad about you will have to decide for yourself.
Yes, I agree with open communion but not with baptism of unbelievers.

What makes you think it is not the normal "nonsense gibberish"?
because I could feel God's power flowing into me when they spoke if you have ever expereinced his power before you know the real thing when you experience it

When we speak of God's power within us, we should realize it is the Holy Spirit empowering believers to love everyone and strive for doctrinal unity, especially regarding how to be saved, or one creed (EP 3:16-19).

yes this is true especially the unity of the church which as of right now it is greatly divided and as we all know a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.
The experience of his power is for the empowering of the believer to do his will it is not simply a spiritual experience but rather a kind of boost for the believer

My sister and her husband, an AG Pentecostal minister of over 50 years, speak tongues. My youngest daughter is married to a Pentecostal preacher (different church in different states) they speak tongues. Ive never seen/heard tongues and didnt know the Methodists speak tongues. I have heard about Evangelical Catholics as well but dont think its local to where I live. Is it real? I dont know.

John says if anyone does not abide in the doctrine of Christ, they do not have God. The most important reason for choosing a church is whether or not their DOCTRINE is confirmed by scripture. Are they abiding in the doctrine of Christ?

They substitute “sprinkling” for baptism. The Bible teaches baptism is by immersion. ( Acts 8:37-39, .John 3:23)

They approve of homosexuality which the Bible condemns. (Rom. 1:26-32)

They condone women preachers, 1 Cor. 14 tells women to keep silent in the church, and not to usurp authority over a man.

Do they teach “faith only” ( James 2:24) or salvation by saying a sinner’s prayer ( not in the Bible)?

These are only a few things that stand out as being in opposition to God and The Bible.

Matthew 7 shows a picture of judgement where God will turn away religious people who not only believe in Jesus and God but claim to have been zealous workers for Him. Jesus said they practiced LAWLESSNESS. Meaning they were not keeping the things in His law—just as John said—they were not abiding in the law of Christ.

Consider carefully and seriously whether or not you woujd be wasting your time in this church. Jesus said “every plant that my Father has NOT planted will be rooted up.”

In order to be "Catholic" you are mandated to accept the ex cathedra dogmas concerning Mary. Of course there
are a whole lot of other hoops they arrange for one to jump through as well, and many of them probably have
more to do with their papistry than anything Biblical. "Evangelical" and "Catholic" seem antithetical.

Yes, but it seems likely that there are tares among the wheat,
so the true KOG includes only those who are loving and striving for Spiritual unity.

It makes me wonder if some on here come here just to argue and debate, granted I like a good debate but if it is not done in a respectful manner then what is the point?
not to mention how many minds have been changed in these debates I haven't seen any and this is the issue with many churches as well everyone is set in their understanding and doctrines not a one seems to want to unify the body and those who do are seen as uneducated or just plain in error to put it lightly

and you know this site is considered to be a kind of church so we should act like one a loving one I go on reddit and it is even worse there politics are a major issue there but I like to go on there to help people there is a surprising amount of confused and hurting people on that site.
