Thanks for bringing that up, as I recall those grains do or did have a negative effect on mental clarity(at least for me), especially when I wasn’t lifting weights, getting enough sun or eating a balanced diet.I like oats too, but took Dr Peter Osborne's classes on grains that cautions about wheat, barley, oats, corn and rice.
He has some classes on grains effects on mental illnesses. There are all kinds of fiber rich foods to choose from. Then there's herbs and gut Flora that help.
If it's regularity and detox, That's a very good priority. Dr Daniels channel, the black lady Dr, has good information on that.

I also discovered that if I take off my glasses outside, instead of having them on (even though it’s blurry) that it boosts my mood big time, not sure how that affects others.
