And why shouldn't Mary be elevated? She is the Mother of the Son of God. I agree she should not be worshiped. But she should not be discarded either. Only a vessel? That is very disrespectful to the Mother of our Lord and Savior
God picked Mary, could God ahve picked someone else just as he picked Saul to become Paul for the gentiles, should we not also hold up Paul, let's see Paul said he was only a vessel, just as all believers are to be, just vessels, is not that what Jesus said he was he did noithing unless God told him nor said anything unless God said to say. He was 100% in dependancy on Father, not Mary, or anyone else.
We by what Chruist did in belief recieve the Holy Ghost of promise a free gift form Father, not Mother and this Holy GHost is the same Hloly Ghost that led Jesus. As a matter of fact the Holy Ghost could not come unless Christ ascended,
in John 14-16 Christ talks to Father about the Holy Ghost comiing and to his disciples about his leavingand then the Holy Ghost will come.
there is no mention of Mother Mary you all, and do not get me wrong, she is highly esteemed for doing what God wanted. by God, but again she herself is noit the way, the truth nor the life, Christ is
Thank you for reading and hearing what the Spirit says

That is God killing him for his disobedience. The ark was not fatal to his touch, HeRose. Try to comprehend these scriptures that you post. Uzzah disobeyed God by laying his hand on the ark, and God punished him for it, for his disobedience, "God smote him there for his error". Killing him right then and there for doing what he was commanded by God not to do.
You are confusing things again.
Uzzah's fault was touching something that was most holy; he was not sanctified to that degree. The ark was deadly to anyone who touched it. That is why it was carried on poles through sockets of silver (signifying redemption)

Here's another thing to consider.

[Christ] Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation
through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25

The word translated propitiation above is the same word translated mercyseat below:

Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. Hebrews 9:4-5

All of the sanctuary vessels foreshadowed Christ.

The ark is the center of the heart. The heart is the "most holy place". The mind is the "holy place". The temple is the body. The courtyard is your sphere of influence.
Mary and many others have the ark of the covenant inside them. There are instructions on how to make it, but you don't have to understand them.

The mercy seat is wide enough for two, one's self on the right hand of the Father. But most people pay attention only to the cubits.
Christ is at the right hand of the Father we are not, you said oneself is at the right hand of the Father are we wishing to be like the Pharisees of the Old and today take over in the New? Just a Question

Once again you are confusing the ark for what is INSIDE of the ark. It was what was inside the ark, when it was uncovered - revealing its contents, that brought forth "lightnings and sounds and thunders and an earthquake and large hail." The scripture that you posted verifies this very thing. This is no mystery, HeRose.
The ark itself was harmless. A vessel for what was contained inside of it.

btw, You quoted Revelation. Read Revelation some more. Go deeper.
The Ark appears in God's temple, followed in the very next verse by a description of Mary giving birth to Jesus Christ.

'Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant...
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head... She gave birth to a son, a male child (Jesus Christ), who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”'

Rev 11:19, 12:1
this part of scripture is already fulfilled Mary gave birth to te Savior as a Virgin, the deviltried to stop this and could not, the devil had Christ put on the cross through his spirit of errors influence of the Human mind, that he just like takes a needle of heroin and injects it into peoples thoughts and ewither they accept those thoughts or they don't, and is why God has come through chirst to live in the ones that believe he died first for all their sins took them away and then believe christ rose from the dead by Father and Father by belief does the same for us if we will believe Father did it all for us so we can rest in Father and watch Father do the work through us as Christ did this very same thing. This is waht I see as waht is truth, beyond putting anyone else above or along side Christ is the way, the truth and the life, to Father only

Her sins was blameless. If she had sinned, in her heart she most likely had remorsed over it. She most likely had sinned, but she must of hated from her heart.
all the world was in need for reconciliation and this came noit before Christ but after the death, burial as proof od the death in order to bring in a new covenant and the rise from that death as in the Spirit for us to recieve new life in christ in the Spirit us recieving the Holy Ghost of promise, before the cross the Spirit of God visited, today Father through the Holy Ghost olives in the ones that Father has accepted those that do beleive, God has shown and or is showing this amazing Mercy he has for those with out wrong motive(s), and this is waht a pure heart is, no malice in mind. Below is what I see God is looking for

"Comfort God by letting God know that you would see God just to dwell in God's Presence. Not for teaching, not for material gain, not even for a message, but for God. The longing of the human heart to be loved for itself is something caught from the Great Divine Heart."

Re: MARTIN LUTHER, ABOUT MARY

Hello Tintin.
Your spiritual father, Martin Luther, disagrees with you.

Here's what Martin Luther, the father of Protestantism, had to say about Mary...

"The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, September 1, 1522)

"She is the highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ . . . She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her enough. Still honor and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1531)

"One should honor Mary as she herself wished and as she expressed it in the Magnificat. She praised God for his deeds. How then can we praise her? The true honor of Mary is the honor of God, the praise of God's grace . . . Mary is nothing for the sake of herself, but for the sake of Christ . . . Mary does not wish that we come to her, but through her to God."
- Martin Luther (Explanation of the Magnificat, 1521)

Furthermore, Luther gives the Blessed Virgin the exalted position of "Spiritual Mother" for all Christians, and she is of course the Mother of God:

"It is the consolation and the superabundant goodness of GOD, that man is able to exult in such a treasure. Mary is his true Mother."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1522)

"Mary is the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of us even though it was Christ alone who reposed on her knees . . . If he is ours, we ought to be in his situation; there where he is, we ought also to be and all that he has ought to be ours, and his mother is also our mother."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1529)

Mary is free from the stain of original sin. Martin Luther also taught this...

"It is a sweet and pious belief that the infusion of Mary's soul was effected without original sin; so that in the very infusion of her soul she was also purified from original sin and adorned with God's gifts, receiving a pure soul infused by God; thus from the first moment she began to live she was free from all sin"
- Martin Luther (Sermon: "On the Day of the Conception of the Mother of God," 1527)

"She is full of grace, proclaimed to be entirely without sin- something exceedingly great. For God's grace fills her with everything good and makes her devoid of all evil."
- Martin Luther (Personal {"Little"} Prayer Book, 1522)

Next we'll see what Martin Luther had to say about Mary's perpetual virginity...
I am sorry this is sounding as if Mary is above Jesus and Father, is this so?

Actually, Jesus IS the Word of GOD, the Living Word, in the old testament, and the new.
Christian theology 101. The Word of God was not the ark, but contained inside the ark. The ark is a vessel, not the Word. You are confusing the two.
And refusing to understand or even trying to comprehend the parallels between the old and new covenants is simply short sighted.

The idea that Mary is the ark of the new covenant is beautiful and wonderful and divine, not "silly". And it's not just an idea. Open your heart.
God is awesome like that.
no matter what way this is sliced diced or cubed, It seems that you are putting Mary above all, She was the carrier and that is complete Christ did the work and finished the Job was buried and was risen by Father Matry was not risen as the way the truth or the life. Christ was so as you say we can't open our minds around this, and then why can't you see that Christ is above all this includes Mary.
Tell me is Mary the way, the truth, or thelife to God. And where does God say that she is?

The insrtructions are for one to believe in Christ in his finished work, death for us, then life for us through him period no other way to Father, no mention as Mary being the way, only that she carried the savior to birth here on earth so the savior Christ culd redeedm us. I never saw or heard of any testimony of Mary raising the dead, healing the sick, hmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who are we actually to look to?
[h=3]Colossians 1:15-23[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]The Supremacy of the Son of God[/h][SUP]15 [/SUP]The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. [SUP]16 [/SUP]For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. [SUP]17 [/SUP]He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. [SUP]18 [/SUP]And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, [SUP]20 [/SUP]and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of[SUP][a][/SUP] your evil behavior. [SUP]22 [/SUP]But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— [SUP]23 [/SUP]if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
No matter what was in te old, the new has come and it is all in Christ, not Mary, not Paul, Not Noah, Not Peter noone else is life found in noone

Hebrews 8:1-5
[SUP]1[/SUP]Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
[SUP]2 [/SUP]A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

The ark, which contained the 10 commandments, was an example of the heavenly things. You're missing the entire point of Christianity when you confuse this issue with your Mary worship.

Inside the ark were the things that represented the sins of the children of Israel. They sinned against the 10 commandments. They sinned in that they tried to depose Aaron, God's chosen. They sinned in that they complained against the provision of God, manna.

That is why the blood was put on the ark by the high priest. It represented a covering of the sins of the people. That is the whole reason the high priest went into the holy of holies. To be an advocate to God for the sins of the people.

The Lord Jesus embodies all of this. He took on all our sin and shame. He cleansed these sins by blood, His Own. He is the advocate with the Father.

Hebrews 9:24-28
[SUP]24[/SUP]For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
[SUP]26 [/SUP]For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
[SUP]28 [/SUP]So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Excellent references Maynard. People do have different ways of interpreting the Bible. The Ezekiel reference where the door was shut is a very strong one that proves Mother Mary remained a Virgin all Her life. And besides, all children of God should understand this. I just want to say, that you put up a strong argument. let the brothers and sisters of the faith who do not belong to Catholicism or who think mother Mary is a sinner just like anyone else think again before they reach such assumptions. Mother Mary is greater than Moses and is worthy of respect and reverence of all Christians. Because She gave Jesus to the world in submission to God's will. She obeyed. Mary was the chosen one of God.

[h=3]King James Version: Revelation Chapter 12[/h]1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

I won't say anymore than this. This passage speaks for itself. It is taken from The Bible. There is a difference between worshiping and venerating. And there is only one God every Catholic worships. And I had the impression, that Catholics too are known as Christians. Well. TY.
