Wow! using truth of the flesh nature to induce. /??????Okay
It is also used in to not do under Law as no one is perfect but Son for them to accept and believe it is done for them too be new in love and mercy to all by God Father in Spirit and Truth to live through them. Only the willing ones get to see this as in my experiences I see.
Unfortunately there are those that make fun of people and things as that, like when Paul was in jail and they made fun of him

It seems this be what you are doing, so I ask
Are You?
If are Thank you, if Not Thank you again love you in the same mercy and Truth God Father love us all first through son and are sincere in care to all

Authorized (King James) Version

Phil 1:15-18
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: 16 the one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 but the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Oh, a copy and paste testimony for every occasion...

C&p is not a sin but rather an efficient way of sharing something many times.
BTW, your comment regarding apologetics prompted me to check my OP for the Apologetics thread and discover
that I had not cited 1Pet. 3:15 as a founding Scripture, even though it was such. Oops!
Thus, I have amended the OP to include it.
Thanks!

And when is it fornication then?
As well, you are also saying a person who has sex with a prostitute is married to the prostitute?

And when would she quit charging money for sex?

What a “public” wedding ceremony adds is accountability

Before God, to friends and family, that you have committed to this one person for life and invited both the support and input from others for when things get difficult.

Chapter and verse please showing God instructs chrsitians to do this?

The Bible is very clear on marriage and it's purpose, and why it's God honoring. I also hope you are not trying to find excuses to get around your sin.

So where are references from the bible that says all this?

You seek affirmation for your choices. I will not provide that.

So you cannot show me from the bible that what I'm doing is somehow wrong?

I see lots of comments but nothing from the bible.

In God's eyes you are married according to scripture. 2 flesh becoming one

That's what I've been told and so far nobody has shown anything from the bible that shows this is not the case

the primary function of marriage is to breed and raise kids.

If two people get married and don't have kinds you are thinking they are living in sin?

Good thing they will go to heaven anyway even if they are

It seems as though you're looking for absolution. I'm not a priest, so I can't help you out.

It's all good since all our future sins have already been forgiven right?

This question makes no sense.

If prostitutes charge money for sax and she stay with the same man and they claim to be married, it seems like at some point she would not charge money since the man is considered to be her husband

On the other hand I've heard some older men say no matter how you slice ityou will always being paying for sex in some form or another.

Marriage is always portrayed as a public even in the scriptures.

Can you post those scriptures?

Chapter and verse please showing God instructs chrsitians to do this?

I did it and explained it very very clearly already once.

But you seem to have an agenda of your own path outside of what God has said.

WHY?

Why are you seeking to go outside the parameters?
Wanting to get away with the bare minimum to please God?

Being a follower of Jesus is not something that is done hesitantly or on a trial basis. (No just dipping a toe in)

This is something done by jumping in the deep end with a weight tied to your waist....anything else is something else other than Christianity.

This is just one of the reasons why I figured out that this site can't be taken seriously.
He's trolling you guys.
Your efforts are quite entertaining, however.
Y'all are on the third page.

Stick around, threads can go much, much longer feeding trolls. On the other hand I use to see them coming a mile away, now it's getting so I can't tell. smh

The Bible also does not mention anything about watching porn, driving above the speed limit, pick pocketing, jay walking (no pun intended), etc. But if you really are saved and have been given a new heart, your life should be showing fruits of the Spirit and obedience to Christ. If I were you, I would read your Bible (the entire Bible) and study it well. The Bible is very clear on marriage and it's purpose, and why it's God honoring. I also hope you are not trying to find excuses to get around your sin. If that's the case, you need to repent and seek Christ for forgiveness and make some changes to your life. If you truly "love" your girlfriend then be a man and propose to her and be the example of Christ to her.

Nothing can be added, excellent post!

I'm just telling you people what my pastor says and he seems to have bible references to back up his claim that once saved always saved is true and correct and that there is nothing a christian can do to cause himself to not go to heaven after getting born again

Your trolling skills could use some work. Guessing JayWalker isn’t your only screen name on CC.

Well, your pastor is flat out wrong. And there are Scripture verses against what he is teaching. You cannot live however you want and still go to heaven. That is misusing the grace of God.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6

Perhaps it is trolling, but the answers and the discussion are good to have. Young single people need to know what the Bible says on this. But you probably have sniffed out a troll.

The discussions of living in sin, once saved always saved, faith + works are already in hundreds of threads on CC. He could simply google the scripture he’s looking for if he actually needed it. He’s trolling.

The bible says two become one flesh meaning my girlfriend and I are now married in the eyes of God.

How is this wrong exactly?
