That is what the loss of salvation crowd has......."rich soil" could mean loss of salvation.

Never perish means never perish.

No condemnation means no condemnation.

Imperishable is imperishable.

Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ means nothing can.

Simple, straight forward language.......And meant to be that way, because we are babies after salvation. Daddy wants us to KNOW WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

Religious, self righteous prigs would love to steal that from His children.

Yes, but you have to also read in context too! You OSAS people are totally ignoring the whole section on warnings, otherwise why would they be in there??

All that, yes as long as we hold on to our faith. I know of many people who have wandered away, and never came back.

According to your belief, they’re still saved? They’ve blasphemed God and turned their backs.

God will say, I never knew you.

Not "read his word."

But, rather.
Be "taught' by a competent teacher his Word.
Reading translations can lead to too many misunderstandings.

That there is the problem, the blind leading the blind, many times….

No sir:

“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭2‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

People need to read the Truth in order to learn.

Its like trying to talk to someone who has a loose bowel about to commence standing in front of a locked bathroom door.

If that is what it means?
Then why did you teach me that?
For, I should need no man to teach me about it.

The anointing teaches us what should be thought concerning teachings presented to us by a man of God.
No man is to tell us what we should think about the teaching we just received from an anointed teacher.
That is to be the Holy Spirit's job.

Jesus stated that not everyone is My brother, sister, mother; only those who do His will are His. So not everyone has the Holy Spirit. They need to be directed to the Truth, the Truth will set you free. :)

What is an anointed teacher? Are you Jewish?

We all should know His word! Jesus is our Rabbi. He is our High Priest.

Mainly manuscripts evidence and then comparisons in Scripture and context. You can see how some discuss it in sites like this.

Whatever the decisions, the other verses I listed earlier IMO tell us what the entire teaching ends up being, especially 1John which IMO makes it clear that love & obedience are tied together, essentially meaning love = obedience. Even John14:15 in a future tense does not have to mean obedience is only motivated by love - Jesus can simply be saying with the future tense that 'you will obey Me' because that's what love for me is - obeying Him like 1John makes clear and the imperative would fit with.
Our perception of love can't help but influence our reading. But, to me, that reading comes to close to "if you love me, then you will earn it," which doesn't sit quite right to me. There's always the possibility that my perception of love could be distorted, of course. Nonetheless, if it is meant to be read in the future tense then my equation would include your view as well as mine, as it would figure for c as much as it figures for a or b, where c is keeping His commandments, a is love and b is Him.
\[ c\^2 = a\^2 + b\^2 \]

Keeping with the formula of the Pythagorean theorem, I think the equation would remain true if the idea were formulated as an obedience to love being equated with guarding Him.

I didn't look at the video @Toknow offered about analogies. I only went as far as to follow the discussing about them being hard to understand, which is understandable, considering it's using language, which is inherently spiritual in nature, to explain language, which is inherently spiritual in nature, and all. I'm sure it just ends up looking like a bunch of scribbles. :/

Shock, horror!! 🤯

Allow? As if the Lord God needs your permission to do His work in you! Unbelievable.

1 Corinthians 6:20
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

If you belong to Christ, the Lord will do His work in you either by giving you one heck of a spanking for your disobedience, or promotion for your faithfulness.
God doesn't need our permission to work in our lives?
So you DO NOT believe in free will?
So you apparently are Calvinist in your belief system.

And absolutely NONE say loss of salvation, eternal life or the Son was unsealed.

You folks cannot see the discipline of God. You just want to toss believers into the lake of fire.

At least He is willing that none perish. Thank God it's not up to the loss of salvation crowd........YOU would be the only one saved.
Who cannot see the discipline of God?

Those who state that we are to obey Him?
Or those that state that obedience is not mandatory?

No one is tossing believers into any lake.

But, a believer can toss himself into a lake by not believing the word of God.

Some here only believe the words of God that they LIKE,,,
but not all of them.

JESUS taught that if we DO NOT ACT on His words...
we will be like the foolish man.
The storm came.
And his house fell
and great was the fall.

Matthew 7:26-27
26“Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
27“The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

Have you read the forums lately? To water baptism or not? To lose salvation or not? To replace Israel or not? I could keep going on but you get the point.

What do you have to stop counting as being true and how do you even do that if you believe it is true? It's enough to send one insane. ;)
I don't read the Forums to learn about God.

I read the word of God.

We are saved by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:4
4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’”

Jesus said to be baptized.
Jesus said we could forfeit our salvation.

I say that we better believe what JESUS taught.

Nope. That's not true. You mentioned no longer responding to me on the basis of your lame claim that my posts are dull.

Of COURSE they're dull...when you can't refute them...

Go figure.

MM
Well, you are rather insulting MM.

THAT is why I dislike speaking to you.

However, you DID state that you were going to print a list of verses showing we cannot lose our salvation.

I suppose you couldn't find any since you are now regegging on your statement.

That's fine.

Just don't blame me for your inability to prove your incorrect OPINION.

I'm not a Calvinist and I'm not playing. Did you not read the scripture? The Holy Spirit does not abide in your body by means of your permission. You no longer own yourself, you belong to Christ.

Our bodies have been sealed for the Day of redemption. Get used to it. The Lord will discipline us as He sees fit and He remains whether you like it or not till the day of redemption.

Might last a bit longer if you weren't so quick to judge. ;)
So you state:
THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES NOT NEED OUR PERMISSION TO RESIDE IN OUR BODY.
ARE BODIES HAVE BEEN SEALED.
GOD REMAINS WITH US WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT.

In case you're not aware...all of the above statements are reformed/calvinist in nature.
They are referring to:
IRRESITIBLE GRACE

You might want to find out about it.
If you're not calvinist...
don't speak like one.
