Your turn @ZNP to ask a Bible Trivia question….

maybe something that has an easy straightforward Bible Verse answer… so we don’t have to try to interpret the answer…(y)
How about a simple yes or no question? I have been told the tribulation is 7 years long. Can anyone provide a Bible verse that proves the tribulation is seven years long? I know that the covenant that is strengthened is for seven years, and I know the seventieth week is seven years. But I am looking for a verse that says the tribulation that is the greatest in all human history is seven years. Is there such a verse, yes or no?

No, there isn’t one. People are interpreting Daniel’s 70th Week prophecy as the time of the tribulation.

I recently realized that has a very big problem with that interpretation. The seventieth week refers to a shemitah, a seven week period in Israel, and the Shemitah always begins on Rosh Hashanah, the head of the year. So how could Jesus say "no one knows the day" if it is the start of the Shemitah, everyone knows what day a Shemitah starts.

Where are we right now in the current Shemitah? (This is not a Bible Trivia question…lol!)

I googled… we’ve just begun the 4th year of the current Shemitah Cycle which began September 2022 and will end September 2029.

The 7th year of a Shemitah Cycle is called the Shemitah Year, which will be September 2028 to September 2029.

Thank you, ZNP! I found this interesting.

Zechariah, Mary and Daniel.

However there are a few people visited by angels who are not named -- Abraham, Lot, his wife, his two daughters, etc. The number of times angels are not named is very high.

Correct!(y) Be sure to give Bible verses for your answer in case someone wants to read about it. ;)

Zachariah - Luke 1:19

Mary - Luke 1:26

Daniel - Daniel 8:16

Go easy on us! lol! 😂
OK, here is an easy one.

Jesus said that among those born of women there had not been anyone greater than John the Baptist, however in the kingdom of the heavens (the church), there is one that Jesus identified who is greater than John the Baptist, who is this one?

Great question!

The least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist.

Matthew 11:11

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

I used to understand that to mean that everyone from the least to the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens, but Jesus didn't say that and the context of this chapter is to be humbled like a small child, get rid of your ego, come off your high horse. So it may be that what Jesus is saying is "If you are nothing, if you are the least, then Jesus can be that much greater in your life".

Another understanding is that those that are born again receiving the spiritual rebirth of Spirit and water are greater than the prophets… they prophesied of the glory of God to be fulfilled in the Messiah but did not get to see it… the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in believers.

John the Baptist was killed before Jesus died on the cross and rose to life, John did not get to see it.

Jesus clearly said it was the least in the kingdom of the heavens and no one can even enter the kingdom of the heavens unless they humble themselves and become as a little child.

18 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Yes, Jesus taught that the KOH is morally different than earthly governments that play king of the hill (KOTH)
instead of operating in accordance with the law of love/mutual submission and He also indicated that
the KOH/NC is superior to the OC and supersedes it (per Heb. 7:18-10:1).

Yes, and Jesus told Nicodemus:

John 3:3, 6

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
