john 16:28 jesus leaves the world AGAIN??? so he was here before who was he then??
genesis 1:27 adam made in the image of God. Jesus said he also was the image of God.

John 20:17 jesus saying:..I ascend to my Father and youre Father and to MY GOD and YOURE GOD.

i believe that Jesus is more the new returnd Adam saving his children than to being worshipped as God

i have no problem in believing that God can walk the earth ,but this is not what the gospel says
 
the prophecy has come treu people will call him mighty God
the prophet spoke of what the PEOPLE will call him

38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Adam was called the son of God.

what do you think is the difference between Adam and Jesus?

As for the Son of God title here is another clue:

1 Chronicles 28
6 Now He said to me, ‘It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father. 7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is steadfast to observe My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.’

8 Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, be careful to seek out all the commandments of the LORD your God, that you may possess this good land, and leave it as an inheritance for your children after you forever.
9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. 10 Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.”
 
i dont get youre point

i know that christ is not the son of David
christ was even before abraham but who was he? you say then he must be God.
I with reading and studying the bible say he has to be Adam who was not deceived (1 timothy 2:14)

That doesn't make sense unless you believe that Adam is more than one person.

I don't say He must be God, the Bible says He IS God but He only revealed Himself in certain places, just as He only revealed certain things to His disciples in order for prophecy to be fulfilled.

Matthew 13:14
And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘ Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;

Isaiah 40:28
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Anyways Adam was cursed and he was a man see Genesis 3.

Jesus was NOT Adam.

but there is only one begotten son of God.
the rest can chose to be children of God or servants of evil

if you dont accept Adam as youre Father then you dont accept God as youre Father for he is the first father of adam and He blew His life giving spirit in to his body.
and Adam was wise and had the word for he named al the animals and God sayed have Dominion over the fish and cattle and all.

And Jesus prayed to his Father to restore his kingdom as was in the beginning

The gospel is very clear


For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.john3
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.1st john 4
 
All I can say is... This is why no one should take psychotropic meds while reading scripture. It could make someone believe Jesus is Adam.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

I'd rather think it is a misunderstanding of the English language and these verses:

1 Corinthians 15:44-46
New King James Version (NKJV)
44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.”[a] The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.

however I don't have the time to straighten it out right now. have to pack lunch, make a grocery list and video record a Christmas program all before noon.

if you continue to read that chapter you see that Jesus was not created but descended from above (in heaven) to dwell among us. In contrast first Adam was formed from dust and breathed the living breath into him by God.

i read the comments and i understand the verses people taking out of concept or given by Paul
example :when Jesus said i am the door, he doesnt mean litterly a door

its clear that Jesus prayed to God and not to himself and God did abandon him on the cross. a good advise do not ignore these and other verses

i believe Jesus is Christ, (and christ means annointed )

its difficult for me to debate on a forum

but i have now my awnsers about why Jesus is seen by many people as God

showing intrest in our heavenly Father is always a good thing
thank you and i pray for the coming of our lord Jesus Christ

Scripture does not say "Jesus is Adam"; nor does the term "Son of Man" mean Jesus is Adam.

Titus 2:13 shows that Jesus Christ is God and Savior.
 
Hi

Can anyone tell me if Yeshua said he was God? I do not want extrapellation, or conclusion I just want to know if he stated it clearly and if so where. I know Paul spoke of this but I dont know if any of the apostles spoke of this.

Please do not quote what Thomas said without a very good translation from the Aramaic or hebrew Language simply because English is not the best when it comes to Biblical translation.

God gave the gospel to Jesus because he was sinless and not to Paul i dont say paul was a bad man but he was not the one annoited for giving the true message of God

Paul says:

1Cor.4:15 For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Phlm.1:10 I appeal to you for my child, Ones'imus, whose father I have become in my imprisonment.

Jesus says:

Matt.23:8 But you are NOT to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren.

9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.

paul about himself:
"I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do -- this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it." (Romans 7:18-20, NIV)

he is like us with ups and downs what will Paul say if he sees that today people are calling him SAINT

Its difficult and some people cant accept this but I follow Yeshua and not Paul because Yeshua IS and Paul is not.

Is the bible God's Word, or not? I believe that it is, including the epistles written by Paul.
