Well, this is the part where I play the party pooper.
When I first started reading this thread, admittedly, I was quite saddened by the attacks on Tintin being Australian. Although it was directed at him, I felt the sting of it. I know, even I joined in and made a joke about Australians and comically swung at myself. I guess I thought it would be easier to laugh instead of being Ms Pouty La-la.
Look, I'm not overly fond of Australia, although I am glad to be in a country that has many, many benefits and is seemingly safe. Having parents that were not born and raised in Australia, I never really felt 'Australian' despite myself being born here. I didn't think I had any kind of patriotic nerve in my body at all, but I can understand why an Australian CC user would stand up with the fists ready.
Again, I don't want to rain on your guys' parade, I'm sure many of you know I love a good joke and a good laugh, but this thread mildly stung me and as much as I wish it didn't, it just did. In no shape or form do I expect people to start apologising or anything, just have a think about it, guys.

Pretty simple. Read the title. Read the OP. Go along with it. Just like any other thread. The thread was intended to troll TINTIN playfully by his friends. Everyone here posted the silly, outrageous stuff about Australia because it was an easy go to to tease Tintin about and everyone here knows there is little to no truth in what they're posting. It wasn't about you, or Australia, it was about Tintin. All you needed to do was troll tintin, as the thread title suggests.

Just for the record,until I saw the movie "Wolf Creek" I always wanted to live in Australia or at least visit,but that film scared the poop out of me! lol
