It is so cold in Florida......How cold is it? So cold that I had to make a breakfast casserole baked in the oven to heat our townhome at least in the kitchen.....

So How cold is it where you are? Hum? Please post your How cold is it here

I did even break down and upped the thermostat on the heater to kick on if it got to 66 in the house from 64....It still hasn't kicked on yet but I have faith it will before long..... Temp gets below 70 I suffer......pity please...

The NWS this morning said that over 60 Cities across the country had "record setting" low temps last night........So much for global warming............yeah, yeah, I know.........don't start........

We did not get as cold as they predicted thank God, but the wind chill is around 10 or 12 degrees.

I am still praying for the folks up North..........they are suffering through one storm front after another.......goodness.

I'm up in the panhandle and it's pretty cold here too, 35 degrees, although I'm sure that would be a welcome relief to anyone north of here.

I have no sympathy for you!
Yesterday it was -10 at 7am. This morring it is a balmy 16 here in the Mark Twain National Forest.

Forty eight degrees all the way down here near Miami.......I don't want to sound like a cry baby........but........waaaaaaaa....The first time I have had 4 days off in a row......been wanting to go to the beach......I have not lost hope......the weatherman said to marrow will be back to normal....high70s....Most important.....if I wear three hoodies.....does it make me look fat......he he...I don't even own a winter coat....One of my buddies......young man who works at the surf shop....went to Hawaii for big waves..And I'm not jealous.....I am not jealous......I am not jealous .....smh......oh yea....I kinda am.....

Since we are so much farther South than you, Dar, we are experiencing a heat wave, by comparison. It must be almost two degrees warmer down here.

well, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta Ga and it has been 15 degrees with a windchill of 0-5 the last 2 mornings.

Saw pictures on the News that the strawberry plants had ice on them this morning......and that's in Plant City.......just outside of Tampa..........goodness

Monday we just drove through Plant City on back roads and they were picking strawberries like crazy but I saw a bunch more fields just loaded with fruit so yes they would have watered/iced them down to save them....we were driving back from Orlando and the family Bible study they had Sunday...stayed overnight and I convinced tourist to meander on the back roads just to see different scenery it was fun....

yes they do that with the orange groves and the peach trees up here.........Ice is an "insulator' who woulda thunk it?

It was -5 ish this morning I think. Oh and windy.

It would'nt be so cold if it weren't for the wind.

-5 not so bad.

-5 with even a little wind is terrible.

Just when I start getting used to it being really cold it will be warm (20's-30's) for a little while and then switch back. I think its worse when it teases like that...
