just a share,

hub and I have been eating fresh veggies out of the garden
for about the last month, ummmmmm!
of course we could never have come this far with our garden
had our Cat not be supervising and directing us the whole way.
also, the horse has put in a goodly portion of labor by
contributing his organic/droppings.

18 degrees today in vermont..feels like 6 with this arctic wind.. 23 degrees tomorrow and in the 50's next week.. woohoo.. :o

Just got to say that winter 2015/beginning 2016 was not cold at all and had higher electric bills this winter which is usually our break time as I don't usually have the heat on so it is cheap during the winter and helps pay for Christmas....but this year the air conditioner has run quite a bit.... Don't get me wrong I enjoy the milder weather I just want cheap electric bills from November - April....I don't think that's too much to ask....lol

Well, it was sure hot enough today and the past few days. We're back into running our A/C's all the time now. Sure miss the winter we really never had.

Who resurrected this zombie thread from over a YEAR AGO?

Who.........WHO........WHO????

It got down to -30 F this winter with the windchill it was around like -43, and could have been worse, as I've occasionally seen it get as low as 47 without the windchill...and the wind is always blowing...blowing...blowing. But, it's supposed to get up to 60 today, the sap is running and I'm in short-sleeves! I can look back at the winter and feel accomplished lol. I'm a survivor. :o

Here it's OK if you're out of the wind, but *shudder*- temperature otherwise :p (South of Norway, by the sea, so most of the time there IS wind)

Hmm, must be their consumption of all them Nordic Beans that causes so much wind?

It's so cold in Florida.........................Water World is hosting the Icescapades this year!

Well, last week in Saskatchewan we had +10 Celsius. This week, first of Spring, we have -10 and snow/freezing rain. I miss 'winter'.

Had a nice thunder-boomer storm yesterday with a hard rain....wind blowing..... I just love watching it pour from the comfort of my dinning room..... Sleeping with the door open upstairs and the fresh air coming in....love it.

No sympathy from someone who lives in VT, 45 miles from the Canadian border. A "warm" winter day here is around 25 degrees.
