His resting place is the just like of old.On the Ark of the covenant. It's amazing that the OT Ark of the Covenant was an image of God.A foreshadowing of Jesus bringing all things unto himself through the blood of his cross. The blood sprinkled onto the Ark of the Covenant was him bringing all things unto himself!
Unbelievable how he does things. He is the blood, and the Ark of the Covenant.
He abides not in a physical Jerusalem but in you.Making you the New Jerusalem,Mount Zion,Israel through the Holy Spirit.
He created us in his image. In the image of himself, thus bring all things unto himself! That's why we look like a Ark of the Covenant.

Psalm 132:13–14
For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Isaiah 60:14
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Revelation 3:9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God
, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

He that overcometh what?!
death! he that overcometh death God will make them a pillar in the temple of the Lord and write the name of the city of the Lord, which is New Jerusalem.

Connect these verses together and it's those who over come death shall be called the city of the Living God.

Hebrews 12:22
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

I know this will rub some people the wrong way,but I see it as a stealing of blessings from the true Israel.Prayers that are meant for True Israel are instead being stolen.

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The Isaiah 60:14 and Revelation 3:12 are connected.
"which cometh down out of heaven from my God"
Scripture reveals that the Holy Spirit which cometh down from heaven is like the kingdom of God coming down to earth. And is also referrred to as Mount Zion and the city of the Living God.
Combine that which who is an Israelite and what do you get?Spiritual Israel.

Ordinary people are forced into many things by those who have more power, but they are also brainwashed into many things.
Zionism as a plan predates Hitler.
Greater Israel is an ambitious plan, and "Israel" is not forced to do it.
"Israel" does not have to be at war with 8 different countries at the same time.

Young Israelis have better things to do than serving the IDF, and the true number of soldiers killed is far greater than what we are told.
If it was my lot to be born in modern Israel I would look for a better place to bring up my kids, as many others have done.

Christians are not forced to abandon sober minded understanding of the Bible in pursuit of war mongering religious fanaticism.
Jesus will come with the new Jerusalem from above, He will not abandon it to live in a temple made with hands.
Vast numbers of Jews from around the world are moving to Israel. And that is in spite of the threats from the God hating nations. Your understanding of the Bible is zero when it comes to Israel.

Yes, Zionism began at the end of the 19th century. It is a good thing, not evil. it led to the formation of the state of Israel, which is according to God's will. You don't have to like it, but it is fact.

"Israel does not have to be at war........" What planet do you live on? Israel has been under attack since independence in 1948. Leaving aside any spiritual issues, Israel is simply defending itself. Should Ukraine just let Russia take over? How about China take over Taiwan? Let's just allow North Korea to occupy South Korea. China would love to take over Australia. Let's send them an invitation. I wish you could see how absurd you are.

If they were smart they'd surrender and save what they have left. If they keep going they will eventually lose everything
You mean Russia, of course. Russia is broke, running out of weaponry and their military is run by a dinosaur mentality. Ukraine's economy is growing and they are now exporting weapons developed as a result of Russia's attack. Talk about an own goal...........

lmao. That's the funniest thing I've read in a while

Because loving muzzrats has worked out so well.

There is a parable that should be considered here:

Mathew 18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

By this parable I understand that God holds us accountable for how we treat people of different religion.
If I was to address you as a "Ziorat" because of the theological difference between us, the conversation that would follow would probably not be of much value.
We can do no greater damage to the testimony of Christ than by entertaining a mean spirit.

Perhaps Greater Russia is simply defending itself, Greater China is simply defending itself, Greater North Korea is simply defending itself.
I hope you find this absurd too.

IMO they are scared because a physical Israel that they can see with their eyes is what makes their Christianity alive and real It is the touchstone of their faith because to them it shows God's faithfulness to his promises. They lack the faith to see that God has fulfilled and is fulfilling all of his promises in Christ and his body. If modern Israel were to fall, then their faith would fall, so they frantically, and often times viciously, attack those who set only Christ on a pedestal and undermine their interpretations of prophecy that take away from Christ's glory and give it to an unbelieving worldly nation.
Why in the world are you speaking for 'they'? Good grief c'mon already SPEAK FOR YOURSELF you're not 'they's spokesperson by a long shot or short shot🤦‍♀️

At the risk of repeating myself again and again, but I think it can never be overstated, they only gather information from their echo chamber sources.
They are really are way out of their depth, it is simply the truth.

A rather key difference is Israel being the focal point of prophecy such as:
Several scriptures, particularly in the Old Testament prophets like Zechariah 12 & 14, Ezekiel 38-39 (Gog of Magog), and Joel 3, describe nations rising against Israel in the latter days, leading to conflict, but ultimately God's intervention to defend Jerusalem and His people. Key passages speak of global opposition to Jerusalem, with nations gathering to attack, but God promising to protect it.
  • Zechariah 12:2-3: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples... and when all the nations of the earth gather against it".
  • Zechariah 14:2: "For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem...".
  • Ezekiel 38:15-16: Describes Gog of the land of Magog coming against Israel with a vast army in the "latter years" (or "latter days").
  • Joel 3:1-2: "For behold, in those days and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat...".
Some of the countries you sited will be some of Israel's attackers.

We are called to love all this is so true....but we are also told to hate evil...where's the balance.
Loving a people does not mean to tolerate there evil ways. Religion is a far cry from relationship. Truth is not what you believe but in whom you believe. Light has no affiliation with darkness.

We are told to occupy untill Christ comes back. That does not mean that we become a door mat to all that seek to destroy us.
God in his mercy does warn others and has given many examples in the old testament of how he deals with those who refuse to obey his warnings. Whether it is a drought, famine, fire from heaven or raising and enabling a army to fight against a persistent foe he will do it.
His long suffering does have a end seen many times in the scriptures. Note that our lamb of God returns as the lion of Judah.
We should never seek the destruction of a people or person but when it becomes relentless evil towards you and yours God's will be done.
