Zechariah 3:2 says that “the Lord has chosen Jerusalem.” He has chosen to dwell on Mount Zion forever, according to Psalms 68:16 and 132:13–14. It is His resting place.
Scripture makes it clear that Jerusalem is where God abides
—where His footstool and throne are found. Like the loving Father that He is, He makes known to his children that His heart's desire is to dwell in their midst forever!

Scripture makes clear that Jerusalem and Mt Zion where God dwells are above where the king of Israel dwells.

But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24
God doesn't dwell in what he calls Sodom and Egypt

And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Revelation 11:8
When God said through the prophets that Jerusalem would be his throne forever, he was talking about when Christ returns with his people at the resurrection to rule from that place forever. That obviously is not happening now, and won't happen until he returns

What frightens you about the "One True Church"?

IMO they are scared because a physical Israel that they can see with their eyes is what makes their Christianity alive and real It is the touchstone of their faith because to them it shows God's faithfulness to his promises. They lack the faith to see that God has fulfilled and is fulfilling all of his promises in Christ and his body. If modern Israel were to fall, then their faith would fall, so they frantically, and often times viciously, attack those who set only Christ on a pedestal and undermine their interpretations of prophecy that take away from Christ's glory and give it to an unbelieving worldly nation.

We know the Church, the Body of Christ is Israel because, Israel is Identified as the Children of God and so is the Church.

Paul when writing to the Romans in Chapter 9 vs 6-8 He identifies Israel as the children of God, observe

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

So one of the Israels in vs six is being Identified as not being the Children of God, meaning the other one is, correct ?

And Paul writing to the same Church Identifies gentile believers as being the Children of God,

Rom 8:16,21

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

referring to the gentiles in Rom 9:26

And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

In Galatians, Paul writing to jew and gentile believers, the Church Gal 3:26

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

1 Jn 3:10

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother 14

His resting place is the just like of old.On the Ark of the covenant. It's amazing that the OT Ark of the Covenant was an image of God.A foreshadowing of Jesus bringing all things unto himself through the blood of his cross. The blood sprinkled onto the Ark of the Covenant was him bringing all things unto himself!
Unbelievable how he does things. He is the blood, and the Ark of the Covenant.
He abides not in a physical Jerusalem but in you.Making you the New Jerusalem,Mount Zion,Israel through the Holy Spirit.
He created us in his image. In the image of himself, thus bring all things unto himself! That's why we look like a Ark of the Covenant.

Psalm 132:13–14
For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Isaiah 60:14
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Revelation 3:9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God
, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

He that overcometh what?!
death! he that overcometh death God will make them a pillar in the temple of the Lord and write the name of the city of the Lord, which is New Jerusalem.

Connect these verses together and it's those who over come death shall be called the city of the Living God.

Hebrews 12:22
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

I know this will rub some people the wrong way,but I see it as a stealing of blessings from the true Israel.Prayers that are meant for True Israel are instead being stolen.

I just saw the Isaiah 60:14 verse just today.Years ago God gave me a vision. He had these synagogues of Satan come knock on my door and fall at my feet ,saying that God loves me.Most of them were people who I know are satanist. Some I didn't know, but God sent them over.It made me angry cause I didn't want to see these people.Even after requesting that he stop sending them over, they kept coming.

If any other entity had behaved even half as badly as Israel has the rest of the world would have taken it out long ago.
I get it.
You believe all their cover stories, and do not demand evidence or require proof in any way.
In the past people in the west may have had more excuse not to know what "Israel" is up to,
but that excuse is gone now.
It is all getting way too obvious.
If you have more questions about Israel and Gaza just bring them to Anna.
She is a bit of a lefty and very young, but much more rational than the average Christian Zionist.
Ahh. CNN. Now all we need is MSNBC to chime in and you will know exactly what to believe.

I know many believers who do not deny the clear historical reality of ethnic cleansing, the lies of regarding the ratio of combatants to non-combatants, purposeful killing of children/babies, aid workers, reporters etc.,

I definitely agree there is spiritual aspect, weak faith, for the die-hard blinded supporter, however I do not think that is the complete picture, I think it is a constellation of issues having stated this, Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote a short essay called the Theory of Stupidity since he lived in time of mass delusion,

"In conversation with him, one virtually feels that one is dealing not at all with a person, but with slogans, catchwords and the like, that have taken possession of him. He is under a spell, blinded, misused, and abused in his very being. Having thus become a mindless tool, the stupid person will also be capable of any evil and at the same time incapable of seeing that it is evil. This is where the danger of diabolical misuse lurks, for it is this that can once and for all destroy human beings."

He goes on to say that only an "act of liberation" can free such people and there is no amount of convincing that will work.
I found this interesting as well and seems very true... "reasonable people find it difficult to imagine and understand unreasonable behavior."

Let's look at rev 11:8 for a bit. In that verse according to strongs
Σόδομα

Sodoma

sod'-om-ah

Plural, of Hebrew origin [H5467]; Sodoma (that is, Sedom), a place in Palestine: - Sodom

Αἴγυπτος

Aiguptos

ah'ee-goop-tos

Of uncertain derivation; AEgyptus, the land of the Nile: - Egypt.

Total KJV occurrences: 24.

Your take on the witnesses here??

You are confused. Its the muzzrats who kill children and women. Of course they rape them first. Defending baby rapers isnt much of a stance for you.

Hatred of muslims is another part of that constellation

There hasn"t been any expression of concern or compassion for their suffering either, so there seems to be an unspoken guilt by association attached to them

Well HeisHere just said Israel deserved the attacks... I can only assume she meant Oct 7 when women and children were taken hostage and the two Bibas boys were strangled. So I don't see concern or compassion from your side either.

That's because so much of what was reported to have happened turned out to be fake. If the 2 Bibas boys were indeed strangled by Hamas, then that is evil and inexcusable.

Wow @Charlesiii was so very right about you, so ridiculous how you just accused me of something I never stated.

I can only come to the very clear and very real conclusion that it is due to the fact that your narrative is falling apart.

They and their mother died while being hostages. The how doesn't really matter. The fact is somehow they were murdered. Women were raped. Hostages were killed. There is no "if".
