It got to be so bad that the gov't banned anyone from leaving by plane. So people started hiring private boats to take them to Cyprus and leaving through the Egyptian border.

You're both right and wrong here. The covenant made with Abraham was unconditional and everlasting. Other covenants were conditional. That's why they lost use of the land. But they never lost the deed because God made that covenant with Israel.

No, 1948 is God's prophetic time clock. God said He would bring the Jews back from where He scattered them into their own land never to be uprooted again. Plain as the nose on your face.

This is such a myth repeated nauseum by bible illiterates. God never gave anyone a deed to the land except Jesus Christ, as it is written:

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. John 3:35​
​
The land shall not be sold forever: for the land [is] mine; for ye [are] foreigners and sojourners with me. Leviticus 25:23​

Sojourners don't own the land they live on

Check out the history of the Samaritans. They were not Jews and neither Jesus nor the Samaritan woman implied that they were.

The Lord owns everything. 1 Corinthians 10:26. I suppose you won't buy a house, buy any gold or anything mineral. We don't want you disobeying God, do we.

God made Abraham a LAND promise. He set the borders. An unconditional covenant, everlasting promise to the Jews. You don't replace the Jews. That is a dead heresy that keeps raising its ugly head every 10 decades or so. Everlasting means what it says. If God won't keep his promise to the Jew He won't keep it to you!!!

What i find ironic is that those that are anti Israel and anti modern day jews profess to believe in the Jewish messiah and his word and are waiting his arrival.
