You said ////but Paul says Jesus only came "in the likeness of flesh"/// But the bible says in the likeness of sinfull flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
So He came in flesh correct ?
That could definitely be what he meant, but all flesh is sinful, therefore if its a likeness it is likened to any flesh, but honestly I would like to be able to have had Paul more fully explain this principle in his epistle because it seems an odd passage to me.

While that can lead to many different beliefs and also cause issues just like people can misunderstand anything, I see the issue of this topic being if people think Yahshua words and teachings are for us today or not.
All of the words in the bible are FOR us ,but not all the words in the bible are TO us . Miss that crucial point and you will be building Arks ,sacrificing animals , Only preaching to Jews , selling everything you own, ect . No we carefully read the context.

Except you are not really addressing what I was saying, possibly I did not word it clearly, so Paul says:

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more..

Yahshua says: "These Words I have spoken to you while still with you" that means while He was in the flesh and that the holy Spirit would bring these words to mind...

26, “יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me. These Words I have spoken to you while still with you. But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.”
Do you realize "these words" are the words the Apostles written down which were spoken by our Lord Jesus, just as Paul wrote down the words given to him by our Lord Jesus? Jesus Himself, never wrote any words except in the dust in John 8.
All that we have in all 4 Gospels/Acts and the Epistles were words which the Holy Spirit gave to the Apostles. To esteem a certain section (e.g. the Gospels) over another section (e.g. the Epistles) is a highway to heresy.

You would be in great error and be disobeying Jesus if you applied most of what he said , today .

Could you try again and this time answer my simple question (in bold)? You never attempted to answer it.
Yes I put Yahshua/Jesus words above because YHWH says to, and Yahshua/Jesus says to

YHWH says to

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I (YHWH) will raise up for them a Prophet (Yahshua/Jesus) like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

Yahshua/Jesus says to

John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

Acts 3:19-23, “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which the Mighty One spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old. For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘יהוה your Mighty One shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”

Then why does the Messiah make a point to say:

John 14:23-26, “יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me. These Words I have spoken to you while still with you. and what about Deut 18:18 -19?

John 14:6-7, “יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father too. From now on you know Him, and have seen.”

Is Yahshua/Jesus really our Master?
Luke 6:46-49,“But why do you call Me ‘Master, Master,’ and do not do what I say? ( Luk 6:47-49, Mat 7:24-28, Luk 8:21, Joh 3:36, Jas 2:17-24) “Everyone who is coming to Me, and is hearing My words and is doing them, I shall show you whom he is like: “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock. And when a flood came, the stream burst against that house, but was unable to shake it, for it was founded on the rock. “But the one hearing and not doing, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream burst, and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

In Acts 3, Peter is addressing unsaved "men of Israel" (vv.12,13,15,19), and says that the Prophet would be "raised up" [to a position of prominence, in His earthly ministry BEFORE His death] "from among [ek] your brothers"... and the phrase "shall be destroyed from among [ek] the people" refers specifically to Israel, in this text. IOW, the point I am getting at is, you and I today do not need to "join up with Israel" in order to be "saved"...

[Gen17:14 - "And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant."]

He was speaking to His disciples and also told His disciples to teach everyone what He had taught them

Mat 28:19-20, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit, and make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

John 5:43, “I have come in My Father's Name, but you do not follow Me. Let another come in his own name; him you will follow.”

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My words (teachings) will not pass away.”

and what about Deut 18:18 -19?
Those were words which Jesus spoke and John wrote down, just like Romans and Galatians were words given to Paul by the Holy Spirit which Paul wrote down.
It seems you have a bigger problem of reconciling the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Paul without denying the inspiration of either.

So you don't believe ALL of Scripture is God breathed?
So where did I say that? Can you show me where I said that? Because I never said that.

I believe every man of YHWH that He had write down words for our understanding had the Holy SPirit and spoke truth, with that said I also can understand this:

John/Yahanan 12:48, “He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day.”

or I take Deut 13 and 18 seriously, thus taking the words of the Messiah seriously...
