There was no straightforward demonstration of Earth's motion until 1725 when James Bradley
discovered stellar aberration. This is yearly change in positions of all stars in the sky due to
Earth's own motion. Aberration arises due to adding up the speed of light coming from the
star and Earth's own speed. This is a very complex phenomenon and its description requires
some math. Another much simpler consequence of Earth's motion is stellar parallax. If Earth
changes its position relative to the stars, then the stars should appear to change position in
the course of the year. Parallax of a star was first measured by Bessel in 1838, and should not
be confused with aberration: parallax arises from the change of Earth's position and depends
on the distance to the star, while aberration is caused by Earth's great speed and does not
depend on how far the star is. source I may never agree with nor understand why you are a flat
earther but I do appreciate your heart for God, even while we interpret His Word in different ways.

"Weight" is governed by gravity whereas Mass is independent of gravity or any other force.
You make claims and provide nothing in the way of evidence to support your claims.
Your statement, "The 'theory of gravity' is easily repudiated by the Law of Physics = WATER" might be deeply meaningful to you, but is meaningless blather to me. Water is not the "Law of Physics".

I will grant that gravity is a "theory", but it is so in the scientific sense and not in the colloquial sense.

He told Adam & Eve to go out, fill the Earth & subdue it. He made the sun, moon & stars to light the earth and give us a way
to mark the passage of time. He didn't tell us not to look at how it all functions.
Isaac Newton, who believed the Bible and stated that all his discoveries where answers to prayer died in 1787.

Actually it is the Holy Ghost that is the teacher. Not sure what copyrighted interpretation you are quoting from yet the
'cloud' that covers the earth like a garment is the the firmament, or rather the earth's atmosphere.
Thus the bow set in the cloud in Genesis 9:16 is the curvature of the earth's atmosphere above the surface of this spherical planet. All you need to do is look at the other planets in expanse to see they are spherical in form as well. Maybe that is the reason it is written that the LORD said that when he looked upon it.
But even if you want to say it was the rainbow, the multicolor band is the result of light refraction. Light refraction does not cause the multicolored band to bow. Light refraction causes the light to change it path of travel according to the the angle it is refracted. The bow of the multicolored band of refracted light is the result of the curvature of the earth's atmosphere.
The Rainbow is the curvature not of the earth but of the Dome that God created that covers the earth.
Thus the Rainbow gives the reflection of the Dome/Firmament.

There is no verse saying the earth is flat. Period. You keep arguing against this and give all your flowery speeches as if you love others while you talk down to them.
A rainbow is round but from Earth we only see part of it.
