14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
That verse is not about Satan. That verse is about the King of Tyre as indicated by verse 12. Tyre was an ancient very famous and a very wealthy city in the ancient world. It would be in what is today presently Lebanon, so very close to Israel. The Bible and other historical records indicate the Tyrians were mostly merchants made very wealthy mostly for their product known as Tyrian Purple, a very very rare dye in the ancient world favored by the nobility of many different kingdoms. The Tyrians were racially Canaanites, specifically of the course of Sidon (son of Canaan, and also a city-state in its own right later on.) Sidon is also mentioned in this prophecy by Ezekiel in this chapter and the next few chapters.
The ultimate fate of Tyre was that the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, destroyed the land settlement of Tyre, but the Tyrians created a Tyre in the middle of the sea which escaped destruction (this is both in secular history as well as a prophecy the biblical book of Zechariah). In accordance to the prophecies, the Tyre in the sea would not escape destruction and the third beast king Alexander would eventually build a causeway to the Tyre in the sea and ultimately destroy it.

I did not start this thread, but maybe the J's of our names has confused you, quite forgivable fellow J name.
I know what a cherub is. I also know what a metaphor is. You will notice the great prophet Ezekiel in just the next chapters says the King of Assyria, and Pharaoh King of Egypt are trees in the garden of Eden. This is interesting because in this portion of the book of Ezekiel the theme is that he going around and testifying against the various nations/races and their kings.
No, that is incorrect. The King of Tyre is metaphorically like the covering cherub from the Garden of Eden as the Tyrians were at one point allied to Israel in the time of King Solomon. In much like manner the king of Assyria and the king of Egypt are metaphorically likened to great beautiful trees in the Garden of Eden who get cut down to hell.
Satan is not an animal. Animals do not have the power of speech. Most English translations of Genesis 3 veil the nature of the entity that deceived Eve by simplifying it to "serpent".
Genesis 3:1 says that Satan is an animal. It says he is the most subtil beast of the field which the Lord God created. As we know from Genesis 1 and 2 the beasts of the field are animals. This first mention of Satan is reconfirmed in the last mentions of Satan and the prophecy of the Apocalypse when that old serpent the dragon who is called Satan and Devil will be ultimately defeated by Lord Jesus and thrown away into the lake of fire forever and ever, amen, praise God.

This is what the Bible I have says:
Genesis 3:1

These verses, the first and last biblical mentions of Satan, indicate what he really is; an animal, a serpent, a dragon. They indicate also the names he is called; Devil and Satan, which by translation mean Liar and Enemy. As we know from Genesis 3 and from the teachings of Lord Jesus how Satan operates is he lies, and he is the father of lies, the first liar and the first sinner.
If you read further in Ezek. 28 to verse 17 it says this:
Ezekkeil 28: 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
In books of Hebrew ancient history we are told that one third of the angels rebelled against God. The two cherubs who rebelled of the original six were the angel of light we now call Lucifer or Satan, and the Angel of death. Scripture seems to confirm this.
Isaiah 14:12-15 "How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'
Two other verses of scripture that seem to confirm what we are told about devils are:
Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
This is incorrect. There is no place in the Bible that says there were fallen angels before the fall. Satan has never been an angel, and the title of Lucifer is never applied to Satan in the entire Bible, and for good reason as the title of Lucifer translates to Lightbearer, and we know from the Lord Jesus that there is no light in Satan.
The Fall as recorded in the Bible in Genesis 3 happens when the serpent tells the woman the Three Lies and she is deceived by the Three Lies and eats of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which the Lord God forbade them from eating, forewarning that they would die as a result. The Three Lies are of course the Original Sin as Satan is the original sinner.
Isaiah 14 is not about Satan, it is addressed to the King of Babylon.
As for the Apocalypse, yes, as Revelation 12 indicates, the dragon who is called Satan and Devil, that old serpent, will be thrown to the earth along with a third of the angels who will foolishly take his side in the future near the end. Satan will then be full of wrath in that day because he will know in that day that his time is actually very short. He will know in that day that his ultimate destiny in the lake of fire is not far away for him. We can see also in the prophecy he will give his power, which is his lies, to the man of sin and to the beast to deceive the earth and cause them to worship the image of the beast and take the mark of the beast.
But be of good cheer, for the Lord Jesus will utterly slay Satan. The Three Lies that he breathed out, the spirits of the demons, will perish with him and all his children that conformed to his lies will be cast away into the lake of fire forever and ever, praise God Most High.
Eph 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
He's called a prince because he's the temporary ruler of this world 2 Cor 4:4. And possesses power to manifest evil in this world influencing people & also commands an army of fallen angels/demons. These beings influence earthly rulers/governments.
Daniels vision in chapter 10. He's on a 24 day fast seeking God. When an angelic being shows up
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days:

(NOTE: Was in the garden of Eden. Tabrets of thy pipes = sockets and grooves used as the settings for the precious stones. Created NOT born)

How could he have been in Eden? He's called an anointed cherub the was upon Gods Holy mountain (Tyrus isn't on God's Holy Mt) that was perfect in beauty & in thy ways. Hebrew Tabrets = sockets & grooves used as the settings for the precious stones. And created NOT born! Do you really think this king of Tyrus mentioned here is flesh?
On this first part, yes correct, when the woman conformed to the Three Lies that the dragon spake to her Satan gained authority of the earth. If you remember back to Genesis 1 and 2, the Lord God had given the dominion of all the earth and everything in it to Man. So by conforming to Satan's lies that authority was given over to the dragon. You can see how everything in Satan's is backwards from everything in God's Kingdom. The order of authority in God's Kingdom is God-----> Man ---> Woman ---> Animals. Satan's Three Lies reversed this order and turned it on its head putting himself the Animal first in authority, then the Woman, then Man, and puts God last if at all.
Satan not only has an army of demons, Satan is where the demons come from. The demons are not fallen angels, but the demons are evil spirits. The Three Lies which Satan breathed out originally (for the word spirit means breath) are the spirit of the demons. Now as it pertains to fallen angels the angels have become corrupted, once before in the days of Noah preceding the Flood, and they are being corrupted right now and a third will side with the dragon in the days of the Apocalypse and be cast out of heaven with the dragon. There will be much rejoicing in the heavens on that day, but a warning of woe to the earth. For the days of Noah and the Flood are like unto the days of the Apocalypse.
Now as for the book of Ezekiel, the theme of this portion of the book of Ezekiel as we see from the surrounding chapters is God sends Ezekiel to testify against the nations/races and their kings. Ezekiel likens the kings of the races to various features of the Garden of Eden. He likens the king of Tyre to the covering cherub. He likens the king of Assyria and Egypt to trees in the Garden of Eden. The theme of this second part of Ezekiel is a testimony against every single race and their kings. Like the facets of the Garden, and the Garden itself, they were created perfectly by God originally, but they all forgot the Lord God Most High rules over everything, and so they are all cut down into hell. Yes the king of Tyre was a man, and he was created perfectly by God, and given many blessing by God, but he exalted himself above God, and so he was cut down into hell.
It appears you are deceived into believing the fall in Rev. 12 is a future event. That fall was before Eden. The archangel that became Satan (adversary) was actually in charge of God's government before he sinned and fell:
Eze. 28:14 "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire." A prophetic mountain is a government.
His gross mismanagement is what cause the earth to become lifeless (dark and void) and in Genesis God essentially re-created the earth. God did not put an earthly king over His government, so the Kingdom of Tyre is the metaphor.
BTW: The man of sin or son of perdition, the beast and the mark have been around a long time.
This incorrect, the fall of the angels and Satan in the Apocalypse is indeed a future event from our present time now. You will know that it is drawing near by the signs which precede it. Like the trees that cast their leaves to signify winter draws near, so too when you see the great and terrible signs which the Lord God will show of the Apocalypse you will know that it is at hand.
God raises up all the kings of the nations, and God also throws them down. Though they may try to refuse to acknowledge him, though they may try to climb up into heavens, though may try to dig down into hell, none can escape the mighty arm of the Lord. Praise Lord Jesus for he is the King of Kings.

The cup given to Jeremiah is to be drunk by all whom drink from the cup of Babylon. Truly all that drank from Babylon's cup will be made to drink from the cup of the Lord. This is a very interesting thing for it was done in Jeremiah's time and it will repeat in the Apocalypse.
