the law was never made for the righteous 1 Timothy 1:9 for they cannot follow what is in the law. Pornography is an abomination, and its consumpion does invite much demonic influence.
But releif over a passing thought that comes occasionally and doesn't return is nothing new, and does no harm.
I have personal wisdom concerning this, and know that my condition is healing rather than degrading.
You will see in the end the course of people like me. I'm a passionately flavored soul, a romantic person. I can't seperate myself from it, but at one point I desperately tried, because I was persuaded that it was inheritly evil.
But my disposition is not malicious. I desire laughter, warmth and fuzziness, tender strokes & tight embraces.

Masturbation is a form of self-flagellation because it's destroying your own sexuality. The fact is if you want a great sex life, you've got to get yourself out from the self-abuse or better said, you have to get yourself into wholesome and right relationship first with God and then if you have "the calling" into a healthy relationship with a healthy Christian marriage partner; it must be God-ordained within the covenant of marriage. If not, you will find yourself deeper and deeper into mere auto-stimulation without the spirit of God. In other words, masturbation is a black hole from the pit of hell and the demons wanna drag you down into it. And they will be more than happy to eat you alive.

I would add that you need to have a lot of healing after the addictions to compulsive masturbation before getting into a relationship. Find somebody who knows how to pray powerfully. Confess your sin, have the elders of the church anoint you and you can be healed. That kind of prayer is a simple act of obedience.

I wanna see you healed brother and that's why I don't mince words. I've been into the pit of hell and I'm telling you it's not a fun place to be. Being in the glory of God, worshipping the Lord, singing and dancing in his presence, is far more fulfilling than any sexual experience you're ever gonna have. Healthy sex is in the service of your partner and that's where true satisfaction is found in a marital relationship by serving and laying down your life for your partner. I appreciate what you're saying however, we should be in a place where we can find liberation, not to be "bound by a spirit of disobedience"… We should be leading exemplary lives, not a life of disobedience, even though we may still be prone to sin. I'm not saying that we will completelystop sinning, but we still need to strive towards perfection and certainly we should not be "bound by a spirit of disobedience" in which case we would need to have the Holy Spirit break the bonds that bind us in the "bounding"
