Is it immoral (offensive to God) to limited immigration?

So we're in the tribulation now?

All Christians must go through tribulation, I think by "the tribulation" you are referring to the post rapture tribulation. No, we have not yet had the rapture and so we are not in the post rapture tribulation yet.

Interesting, I will keep following along to hear your POV.

Hey brother!! Long time, no see. I believe you are correct. But there were borders in the Bible and there is nothing said against having them and they were respected. Apparently the pope has never read the OT.
Exactly.
And it was a different time.
What we can now draw from these OT passages are not particular laws, but very general principles.
(God tells us to be kind - God never tells us to be stupid or self destructive.
And recent leftist views on immigration are indeed both irrational and self destructive.)

Old Testament Times -
the entire world was agrarian, and even large cities weren't that large, and immigrants were usually in very small numbers:

There was lots of space, wide open space, there weren't such dense concentrations of humanity, and HUMAN LABOR WAS REQUIRED FOR EVERY CATEGORY OF INDUSTRY.
So if a few people crossed the border, into an agrarian area that probably needed more human labor anyway...
it really did not cause any problems as long as the immigrants were polite, and were in small numbers. .

Modern Times -
everything is entirely different:
1.)
The world has massive populations now, and dense population centers - there isn't an endless amount of wide-open space to casually accommodate everyone.
(Mass migration into a dense area immediately increases local inflation, and decreases availability of things like housing and all public services. If migration is in large numbers, it causes immediate economic harms, as well as safety issues of evey kind.)

2.) We're not dealing with a "few" immigrants meandering in, but MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS... which essentially constitutes an invasion.
(We don't have SMALL numbers of people wandering across the border into low population agrarian areas, but LARGE numbers of people piling into densely populated areas that are already over-extended.)

3.) The world has changed so much since biblical times, that ALL NATIONS now have IMMIGRATION LAWS.
(We aren't being unreasonable. The world has changed to the point that all nations must now have immigration policies to control resources and safety within their borders. All nations now have immigration laws to carefully manage immigration... even the very countries the modern immigrants are arriving from.)

4.) Mass Migration equals Collapse, and this is known:
- Mass immigration, which is what we have now, is known, historically, to DESTROY ENTIRE NATIONS.
- The harm of MASS MIGRATION is a KNOWN QUANTITY.
- This issue is a matter of historic record, going all the way back to the bronze age.
- WAVES OF MASS MIGRATION DESTROYED THE ENTIRE ANCIENT WORLD... EVERY ANCIENT EMPIRE COLLAPSED DUE TO MASS MIGRATION with the exception of Egypt, which was able to fight off the invaders.

Conclusion:
- One has to wonder: if mass migration is well known, historically, to destroy nations and collapse empires, and this is well-known historically... then why are so many well-educated statesmen and political advisors advocating to flood western nations with mass migration?
- Things that make you go hmmm.

In the First Testament when Moses lead God's people out of Egypt, many non-believers followed along. They were not allowed to enter the camp of the Jews and not considered members of the community until they had accepted all the laws and decrees God gave to his people on Mt. Sinai. For males this including circumcision, while women were fully accepted by lawful marriage to a believer. They were fully accepted as members of the community with all rights and privileges.

God's people are the most welcoming people on earth. During the exodus, non-Jews were welcomed to follow along but were required to follow the Noahide Covenants that govern basic civility. God's people have always been required to treat all aliens fairly, respectfully and with dignity. If an alien entered the Tabernacle illegally, they were killed.
