Your message sounds more like a learned repetition of someone who can’t fully rely on the Grace of God.
#1 It’s not scriptural. Reams of scripture ( both OT and NT) support the fact we can not go anywhere that Holy Spirit isn’t . He’s there with us, He’s there before us. His job is to comfort , not to bail out on us.
#2 What kind of loving forgiving nurturing God would support the idea that, ...”you get to take care of you”.

Yours is not the message of the cross. The message of the cross brings joy, freedom, life , encouragement and Peace.

Five thing i like that quiet my mind and heart.
Motorcycle riding. There is something about focused alertness on a single thing, in this case riding and not getting killed by someone that clears away everything else and centers you.
Sailing - When you untie the boat and head out into the open waters it really disconnects you from all the noise in life.
"Those who go down to the sea in ships, see the hand of God upon the waters and his wonders i the deep."
The night sky - Get far enough off shore and away from all the light pollution and you can actually see its testimony of God and of how small you really are. It tells me about my struggling how my "Resistance is futile" and how I can stop and trust myself to God.
Great waters - Great bodies of water remind me of death. Something I could not survive or see the other side of. The fact it being inevitable as the ocean tide helps me let go of the importance of all that is in this life. It put things in their proper perspective and causes me to focus on living for what is eternal.
Electrical storms - I was taught to see them more like fireworks really really deadly fireworks. The power of God on display like the night sky but closer to home. I find comfort in the power of God because I find my conform in the person of God demonstrated to me in Jesus Christ. If i am going to trust anyone with the power of life and death over me and everyone I love and everyone who hates me it is Him. His power is just how secure I am in His love.
