I struggle with it from time to time, i hear voices. Medication works and so does prayer, it keeps it at bay. I also massage my brain because the voices i hear constantly curse me and give me a really bad headache.
Is anyone else struggling with mental health issues right now?

Whenever you hear the voices say, satan get behind me.
Depending on what the voice is saying, it is good to recite a particular scripture at such times as a reply to the voices. If you are alone say it verbally, but if in public you can mentally say the scripture. This will help to quiet the voices. Speak God's truth over it.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Ya, go for the drive. Going for a drive is a simple easy way of spending time together as a family , and thats more important than whatever else is going on outside your world. She and your child are your world and you as priest of the family are responsible for your and their best interests. Maybe plan a stop at an ice cream parlor as a celebration of your family just being together.
I know from experience that mental illness is a terrible pressure on a family, but I also know that God is on your side and is looking to bless your honest efforts at strengthening your family. I’ve already prayed about your situation as one who knows what you’re going through , and know that God is able. Expect good things brother.
If the Believer Faith is not placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work at Calvary Cross where the victory was one, the help of the the Holy Spirit stops because grace is being frustrate. Christ has become of no benefit to that Believer. In other words, you get to take care of you.
Thank you for the kind words...it has been a while and thankfully things are going well. I was given a leave of absence from work back in April and into early May because my wife did end up having a breakdown on Easter Monday and had to spend some time in hospital. Thankfully she was released after 8 days....her doctors said she wasn't fully recovered, but that her recovery would likely go better at home than in a hospital with all the Covid protocols.....and since then things have been much better.
We've settled into something of a routine....which is hard given my schedule rotating between day and night shifts. There's a church in town conducting outdoor worship, it's not our home church but that's fine....just hearing The Word spoken aloud and the music lifts my spirits.

Well, it sounds more like a case of John 5:25.
If you are receiving medication then that means you also have access to professional assistance. Good, follow their directions and keep your appointments.
Of course you probably already know that it will very unlikely that they are going to acknowledge a belief in the LORD much less that the LORD can actually communicate with man since the the consider that the audible word requires a sound wave which would be necessary to transfer data from the one living being to another living being.
However, in their reasoning if the sound wave is generated by the vocal anatomy of man's flesh then in their understanding there is no source for the motion of the sound wave then there is no audible word and if there is no audible word then we must have had an auditory hallucination.
While sound might require the motion of air molecules to be heard, the word doesn't. They can click on the link if they can't perceive the difference between the audible and the auditory.
It can be quite intense can't it?
While 'fear' is used in Job 4:14, I think 'terror' better describes the experience.
So how long have you been hearing voices of constant cursing, you might consider Duet 4:39.
Oh ok I understand what you are saying now and I agree. When I first read what you wrote it sounded like you were saying we have to constantly be actively thinking about our belief in the message of the cross for salvation to remain in effect. And that the slightest distraction, whether it be making dinner, taking a nap, or a bathroom break would be enough to not be showing our true saving faith. I understand now.
I think the outdoor services has got to be a good thing. Of course, each of us has to judge what we hear in events like that on what we’ve come to know about God’s word and will ; but it would serve as: a) an opportunity to be outdoors, and, b) an opportunity to hear God’s word brought by someone new , who may be blessed with an effective ministry.
I feel for you brother, and continue to pray for you and yours.

When someone is talking about their struggles with their wife, it is most appropriate in the family forum. Sometimes those struggles are about adultery, or finances, and sometimes they are about health.
I can't believe anyone would think that someone who wanted some encouragement about a very difficult marriage, because of a disease, is being inappropriate. Just because our spouses may not have Schizophrenia, doesn't mean they don't struggle with other mental health conditions.
My husband has Depression with psychosis. Same scale as schizophrenia. But he is fairly easy to treat, with 2 ADs. What I have been through in the past, when he would not take meds, would fill a book. Now, he is kind and gentle, and always helpful. I praise God he helped my husband get on meds. Unfortunately, he fell into the trap of thinking he wasn't a good Christian, because his brain wasn't working properly. Well, he has some terrible things that happened in his past, too. I'm grateful I stayed with him, but for years, it was a nightmare.
So, yes, some of us relate really well to what the OP was saying. And I am glad he posted here.

Yes, this is so true. Sometimes we fail to recognise that we don't have total control over everything, so we are hard on ourselves instead of trusting in God that He will help us and work everything out in His time.
Do not let anyone tell you you're less of a believer because you suffer through an illness or a trial, even apostle Paul was not spared from what he called "a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of satan to buffet me". I am praying that your mind is always uplifted, dwelling on all things of God and that you will get healing and relief. Amen in Jesus' name
