Read Romans 11.
"Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children." Isaiah 66:8
"you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms."
Ezekiel 37: 21 & 22
You can deny God's word if you wish. The reality is that Israel was brought back to the land according to God's will, for His plan and purpose. The book of Revelation talks about the 12,000 sealed from 12 tribes of Israel. Israel is a tiny nation of few people, yet has survived and thrived in spite of the nations around them.
God has not yet finished with Israel. No, the current war may not be the last. I do not believer it is. Other nations have not yet joined Iran (Persia). This may well be a precursor to the main event. The other nations may decide to join the fray now as foretold or that may still be future.
Modern Israel is as foretold. It does not yet occupy all the land that was allotted to Abraham. The British saw to that. The British also saw the demise of empire. Coincidence? No such thing. God removed His blessing.
modern israel does not occupy all the land, but God did fulfill his promise to israel way back then:
Joshua 21:43-45 43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. 44 The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.
as for the piece of land alloted to abraham. we live in the new covenant with better promises. we inherit the entire earth, not a piece of land in the middle east.
Romans 4:13
For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
who is the seed of abraham? Jesus Christ
Galatians 3:16
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed,” meaning One, who is Christ.
" But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city."
and as i said in my first post, all these regathering verses you guys use are talking about the babylonian captivity back then. one cannot say that the jews are in some sort of captivity right now. jews run american media, the most powerful nation in the world, hows that for 'captivity'?`one of the wealthiest classes of people. thats not captivity. captivity was the babylonian captivity.
