Almost Heaven West Virginia
which apostles and prophets has the united states killed? none. the usa did not exist when the apostles were alive.

jerusalem jerusalem, you who killed the ...........? Jesus said it, the mystery babylon spoken of is earthly jerusalem. the jerusalem that is above is our mother, and is free, new jerusalem. while the earthly one is in bondage with her children.

Many prophesies have two or more fulfillments. This one had the immediate and then the future.

no problem with that. america is one of the most wicked places and rules the entire world no question. the american culture is world culture now, mystery babylon does fit that description.. you walk in new york streets and babylon, confusion comes to mind, modern tower of babel so many languages and cultures mixed in.

i cant believe that people are quoting jeremiah 49 and applying it to modern day iran. this has absolutely nothing to do with biblical prophecy. nothing.

i cannot find a single verse in the new testament that talks about jews being regathered prior to the second coming. i see you guys use ezekiel 36 and isaiah 11 as proof of the modern gathering, which both fail miserably as the context of those verses completely refute whats happening today.
You can't find it because you don't WANT to find it.
The Amil position is poison to Scripture.

Isaiah 11:11

New King James Version

11 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

First regathering was after Babylon.

Guess when the 2nd was?

God has not cast away His people.

Yes, we should highlight some of these verses

John 12:13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Jesus is the King of Israel. His coming will set up His kingdom. He will be coming in glory. What kind of glory would it be if Israel is destroyed?

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

They asked Jesus this as He was about to ascend to the throne in heaven. According to the prophecy in Hosea 6 Jesus ascends to heaven leaving the earthly temple and will return two days later, that is 2,000 years later to rescue Israel. Yes, Jesus is the redeemer from the time He was crucified, but when He returns two days later He will redeem Israel as a nation. The entire church age has been a punishment to Israel for rejecting Jesus as the King.

Acts 7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Stephen was relating the history of Israel as being prophetic of their current rejection of Jesus. Two days to God is as two thousand years, but another way to look at it is 40 periods of 50 years. And still another way to look at it is 40 jubilees (40x49+1) = 1,961 years from 70 AD.

Romans 10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

This provoking to jealousy has taken place during the church age.

Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

Crystal clear, God has not cast away His people.

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

According to the context the casting away of Israel takes place after the crucifixion and during the entire church age. The receiving them back takes place after the end of the church age.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Israel is waiting on the fulness of the Gentiles. I was talking to a Jew and she asked me where the Bible talks about the rapture. They know that Jesus claims to be the Messiah, they know that the Christians claim there will be a rapture. They are like Thomas, waiting to see it for themselves.

Hebrews 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

This would be a very good example of the rapture from the Old Testament. Joseph was a hero of the faith, he died, but at the exodus he also will be caught up.

Read Romans 11.

"Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children." Isaiah 66:8

"you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms."
Ezekiel 37: 21 & 22

You can deny God's word if you wish. The reality is that Israel was brought back to the land according to God's will, for His plan and purpose. The book of Revelation talks about the 12,000 sealed from 12 tribes of Israel. Israel is a tiny nation of few people, yet has survived and thrived in spite of the nations around them.

God has not yet finished with Israel. No, the current war may not be the last. I do not believer it is. Other nations have not yet joined Iran (Persia). This may well be a precursor to the main event. The other nations may decide to join the fray now as foretold or that may still be future.

Modern Israel is as foretold. It does not yet occupy all the land that was allotted to Abraham. The British saw to that. The British also saw the demise of empire. Coincidence? No such thing. God removed His blessing.
