I would probably adapt it to cover further forward as well.
Sometimes I see videos or pictures of the Soviet Union, and it has the typically "Old Russian Grandma" in it, which I really like the head coverings.
I really liked watching Fiddler on the Roof, because of the clothing.
... but, yeah, I lurv the kind that the mennonites wear.

When I was in India, I used to cover my head with a scarf in Church or basically at any gathering, where we took the Lord's name. This was practiced "mostly" by all women there. When I moved to the US, I didn't see women covering their's heads, doesn't matter which denomination Church I went to. At at some churches, I was looked down upon when I did cover my head. I have asked few pastors this question but no one was able to give me an answer that made sense. So help me out people. Thanks in advance. Blessings
The method you used in India to cover your head is the correct method. People too often become too arrogant and do not understand authority or its purpose and want to make all authority equal. But authority was placed there by God, not man. As you have given the scripture also so practice. For in doing this you will receive the blessing of the authority that comes with it.
Also note the following though:
1 Corinthians 11:15 KJV[15] But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
So if a lady should have long hair, then her hair is her covering. If she does not have long hair then she needs to wear a covering as symbol of the authority over her. And she will be blessed with humbleness accordingly. So if a lady does have short hair then as the custom must be, she must have a covering. In like wise it is not good for a man to have long hair.

The covering in 1 corinthians 11 is a womans hair. if you read the very begining of that chapter you will see it is a shame for a woman to cut off or shave off her covering. A man on the other hand is shameful if he has a covering, or long hair.

I cor. 11:6 Yes, if she refuses to wear a head covering, she should cut off all her hair! but since it is SHAMEFUL for a woman to have her hair cut or he head shaved, she should wear a covering.
The reason women were shamed by having their heads shaved was because it identified them as pagans temple prostitutes whose heads were shaved as punishment. This is why long hair is a glory to a woman.
In Corinth was the Temple of Aphrodite. Greek writers in the 5th-4th centuries BC characterized Corinth as a city of commercialized love and a "Corinthian girl" meant a prostitute. The Corinthian church of Paul's day struggled with worldliness and sexual sin, both of which were typical of this cosmopolitan city.
