It’s that time of the year again.
1. You're late. This should have started half a month ago.

2. An old thread? Really? You couldn't be bothered to even start a new thread so we could yell at you that you should have used an already existing thread?

Sorry.

Should we celebrate Christmas? It is a sin? We will lose salvation if we do?

Yeah, it's not too early for a Christmas thread.

Maybe I should dig a few up.

Hmm... Maybe just go back to my video game. Yeah. Let's do that instead.

One time at work one friend brought in some halloween cookies. Two of my Christians friends walked over to the table. One of them said the cookies were evil, he would not touch them. The other Christian friend, took a cookie. ate it and said....mmmmm cookies.

halloween's origination is of a pagan nature where people would wear costumes to ward off ghosts & light bon fires. it was all part of a ritual to welcome the harvest. so "pagan" is the main word here. that's definitely not of God! sure, it has softened a bit in america. giving kids candy & gifts is fine. so clearly, any involvement having to do with those things God said are evil, yes, it is evil to celebrate halloween that way. i myself, have never decorated for any holiday in my life nor have i celebrated halloween ever. i celebrate Christmas & Resurrection day spiritually. other holidays, i celebrate just for what it is, nothing added.
